My husband and I were looking for a great wine bar And we came across this amazing place we already can’t wait to go back. Everything from the service to the food to the beautiful wine that was paired without chefs feed me was incredible. Jordan Was exceptional Thank you so much for the lovely experience and we look forward to coming back and trying the pork because we substituted it with the duck and have to say it was the best duck I’ve ever had in my life. I even took the time to go into the kitchen to tell the chef how grateful we were.

My partner and I visited RH for the first time, and I can honestly say it was an incredible experience overall. We were warmly greeted by the front-of-house team and directed upstairs.
To be honest, I was a little disappointed by the décor—it felt like it lacked inspiration and love, especially compared to the high standard set by the rest of the experience.
Now, let’s talk about the food: simply amazing. We opted for the five-course tasting menu, and the chef was wonderfully flexible. We had seen a different course listed on the website and wanted to swap one out—though the online menu hadn’t been updated, the chef was happy to accommodate us.
The food exceeded our expectations. The eggplant dip, oysters, arancini, soufflé—each dish was absolutely delicious. The lamb was cooked to perfection and packed with flavour.
We also ordered the entrecôte, which came a bit too rare for my liking (though my partner was fine with it), so we ended up sharing. As for dessert, the Basque cheesecake had great potential but could have used a different sauce and some fruit to balance it out.
Overall, it was a fantastic evening. We definitely recommend RH and look forward to coming back. Well done, team RH!

Amazing fresh food sourced from a lot of local places served by friendly, attentive staff in an intimate setting. Both the front room and semi outdoor back area are wonderful spaces to share oysters, charcuterie, or full meals with beautifully selected wines. I’ve had the pleasure of visiting with both small and large groups, and ruckers hill has never disappointed.

Honestly…. Impossible to fault! Wife and I had the 5 course tasting for $79 and it was so much food we had to get desert for take away. I would of happily paid $110pp for this experience.
The service was top notch. The venue was lovely. And the food itself was fantastic and top quality.
100/100……no complaints at all. I never leave “tips” but felt obliged to here!! We will be back and next time with a large group!

This restaurant is wonderful! The food is exceptional. We started with a croquette and then had scallops for entree and entrecôte for main. I don’t say this lightly, but the dishes were faultless. Beautifully presented and superbly cooked and completely delicious. Nice wine list here as well and we shared a granite hills Gruner veltliner and a Carlei Estate Pinot noir, both of which were excellent. Service was thoroughly professional throughout from our very knowledgeable and skilled waiter from Venice. We thought the cost of the meal was very reasonable given the high quality of the experience. Our only tiny criticism was that we felt that the lighting was a little low. But, as I said when we first came here, this restaurant thoroughly deserves its high rating (4.9 at the time of writing). It’s an exceptional restaurant

Had the Chef’s tasting menu and it was delicious!
They accommodated my cousin who is pregnant and the other who has walnut/pecan allergies.
My favourite, surprising to me, was the pea and ham hock soup. Didn’t love the dessert but I don’t like chocolate very much so can’t go off that – the cream was superb though.

We had a booking for 3 adults and decided on the Chefs Tasting Menu. Every dish was special, delicious and top quality. We were able to exchange one dish for another on the a la carte menu, and this was no problem. The staff were very attentive, professional and very personable. The restaurant had a very cozy, cottage feel. We all said that when in Melbourne next, we would definitely come back. Thank you Chef David, 10/10.
