The wait staff was fantastic in every aspect. The restaurant was beautiful. As far as the food goes it wasn’t for me. I didn’t like the seasoning on the steak. The potato round fries was good, but I would prefer they be a little crisper. This place was a one time visit for me.

I ordered the Carolina Crab Cake it was okay not my favorite very bland. The crab dip was good it was loaded with crab. The waitress was fast and really the best thing there. They were decorating for Christmas which looked very pretty. I don’t know if I would go back. Definitely a good place for the older white crowd.

My husband ordered the Island Chicken and really enjoyed all the flavors. I enjoyed a half rack of ribs with sweet potato fries. The honey butter croissants were delicious! The staff was really friendly and helpful, their bathrooms were clean. I definitely recommend eating here!

We went there on 11,6,25 and sat outside weather was fantastic and the food was on point as usual, the waitress even brought a bowl of water out for our dog . Overall a great example also got to see the full moon .

We were on vacation in Wilmington nc. We were looking for a steakhouse. One of the locals recommended Rucker John’s. We both got a ribeye steak. Its was cooked perfectly. Moist and tender. My husband got the one that was marinated called Blackjack special. It had a touch of sweetness. Mine was not overly seasoned but good flavor. I loved my baked potato. My husband got fries. Which are cut on the round. We also started our meal with shrimp bisque soup. Very flavorful! Portions are large.

This is my families favorite restaurant in Wilmington! We visit very frequently. We love the shrimp and grits, chicken tenders, and the Mahi sandwich was great! We will be back!

the best part here was the service, danyelle was an amazing waitress! the food was ok. i got a ribeye medium rare (it was definitely more medium) and i could’ve made a better one at home. their little croissants are really good though, and so are their side portions. overall a good choice if you’re not going for the steak.
