We had to share menus . Two menus for a four top. Asked for one drink in to go cup still brought it in a plastic cup. Neice ordered green enchiladas they had no sauce . Rice had no seasoning at all. We don’t complain just don’t come back! Definitely not worth what I paid! Gorditas is more masa than filling!

The atmosphere was fine and smooth but the food was not even fully cooked. There was a whole piece of uncooked tortilla on my enchiladas. The cheese was very heavy and bulky and we had to ask for water 3 times and waited for at least 20 minutes for just the tab.
Update 02/2025: I have finally returned and let me say the service was awesome this time and the food, queso included has significantly improved. 4 stars instead of 5 is because the torta was not my favorite, they add full chicken pieces instead of shredded or chopped pieces.

The service was not the best at all could of been better we were the only ones there and the wait time for drinks and food took long. We ordered menudo and pozole it had no flavor at all it was so watered down. The fajitas all carbon was the only thing that was good.Also got a margarita instead it tasted like I got straight up lime juice and water with like a drop of tequila or who knows I don’t think I got any ….. But if your thinking that this place will be good and the service will be good for the area. WELL WRONG. DO BETTER !!!!

Came here for dinner based on Google maps recommendation and the rating does not do justice! This place is real authentic Mexican food. The service was friendly and prompt. Restaurant was clean and neat. The food was absolutely amazing! It was fresh and delicious. The chips and salsa was fresh! I highly recommend the quesadillas con al pastor. Very flavorful and tasty. Very reasonably priced for the delicious food you’re getting. Family friendly. I cannot wait to come back and enjoy all the other delicious meals offered. Enjoy!

Anna was a great waitress, very friendly and helpful. Had a small problem w an acquaintance that was w me but once she and her unruly son left everything was straightened out. Anna was very u persuading and handled it like a champ!! Would recommend asking for Anna during the day shift!

Food was disgusting, tripa tasted like they fried it in the fryer and that oil hasn’t been changed in forever. Tasted like old oil. Bacon was dropped in the fryer it was all crumbled up and tasted like old oil as well. None of the meats had flavor. The one on westheimer is a few minutes away. I regret not going there instead.

I used to come for the food and drinks, but this last visitwas horrible. We sat at the bar and after asking us if we needed anything 5 min after being served, we never saw our server again. We had to go look for her when we wanted to pay and it’s not a big place. My watermelon Rita was the lime margarita with a splash of some flavoring. It wasn’t even close to pink or red.

The staff was polite but you’ll be at a disadvantage if you do not speak Spanish. I had a bit of a year communications issue when trying to ask questions and order. The waitress kept asking if I wanted flour or corn tortillas when asking for the beef queso.
Regarding the beef queso, the cheese had already started to firm up by the time it was brought over to the table making it impossible to eat with the chips. See my photo for reference. The consistency of the queso was what I hoped to have on pizza, not my queso. The chips were void of any salt. The lack of seasoning was predominant for all the dishes I received.
The beef and the beef queso was tough and very chewy.
The beef in the beef and chicken fajita had some seasoning but was less than adequate compared to what I expect from a Mexican restaurant. I want, and should expect, vibrant flavours from the food here, but that wasn’t my experience unfortunately.
The portion was about half of what was shown in previous photos uploaded to Google and the photo provided on the menu. Especially given the $20 price tag for the dish.
The seasoning on the chicken for the beef and chicken fajita was non existent.
I also can’t recommend the salsa Verde, I typically enjoy this with the chips but it was lackluster during my visit.
The red salsa that was also served with the chips n salsa, along with the salsa Verde, was very very water down. My preference is to have a thicker salsa, but this was probably the most watery salsa I’ve ever had at a restaurant.

Definitely worth going ! The deck and the music was very laid back atmosphere. Our waiter Jose was great and so was the food. The music inside had a really good beat and people were enjoying themselves. We really enjoyed it.
