While working in the area we thought to give Ruchi a try. Lunch was exceptional, I’ll be back for sure!

Being an Indian, I’ve tried many Indian cuisine and restaurants but I had really bad experience at Ruchi. The overall looked really nice. There was one spice which had a strong smell in all the food which did not give a good aroma to the food. All the food in the buffet was cold. After tasting the food it was not bad, but it was so spicy. Spicy in the sense, you’ll end up eating plain white rice or drink water. They also give some complementary food but everything thing is hidden in the kitchen. There was no menu card, no restroom. I also saw that the spoons and plates were not washed properly. Overall I have eaten Indian food all my life and being an hotel owner I didn’t had an great experience here. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who hate spicy food. It’s way to SPICY and NOT PROPERLY MANAGED..!!!

This place is so yummy! The food is deliciously spicy and the place is clean. They are a new restaurant so they’re working out the kinks but it has so much potential. We came in the middle of the afternoon and got the lunch special buffet. Which is great! It was a little bit on the lukewarm side but still the taste was delicious. The owner introduced himself personally and showed great personal interest. He said their ice cream is super popular but they were out of it that day. Cant wait to come back and try this place again. Nowhere to go but up!!

This is a great little restaurant and worth checking out. There are a plethora of vegetarian options and plenty of options for us omnivores as well. Their food is fabulous and the service is great – the employees are attentive and seem to be genuinely nice folks.

Currently, they offer a lunch buffet Monday-Friday, which is a great way to try out some of the food that they offer. The buffet is modestly priced and items are consistently rotated so that everything is nice and fresh.

Drop by, try out their food, it does not disappoint.

Don’t understand the good reviews of this place. Went for dinner. Food was well prepared and nicely presented but every dish was incredibly bland. Atmosphere was horrendous. One staff member just shrugged at us when we walked in. When we asked if we should take a seat he just nodded. Then one staff stood over our table staring over us the whole meal while kicking his foot back and forth against the buffet table. Very small restaurant and very uncomfortable. Whole staff could seem to have cared less about anyone there. Food is probably a good choice for people that have never had Indian before but try getting take out. Would not recommend going for a sit down meal or taking a guest or client.

The food was fresh, hot and very delicious. I appreciated their being open later for pick up than many non-fast food places these days. Also like their online ordering menu, it was easy to use and worked very well. The order was supposed to be done by 9 p.m. (late night, after work out-of-town, dinner), and it was right on time. The gentleman that helped me when I came to pick up was very nice.

If you would like well prepared Indian food, this is a good place to go. Just do what you can to stress the level of spice you would like to have in the dish you order. The only thing that was a tiny disappointment with regard to the flavorful food was the lack of spice. For one dish I specifically asked for “VERY SPICY” and it was just mild. For another I asked for “SPICY” and it was also mild. But, again, the food was very good, just didn’t have the spiciness we requested.

To the owners: There was one thing I would have made the experience just a bit better. My family and I were planning on eating our food before heading down the road. Unfortunately, there was not any plastic ware included, so that left us with only being able to eat the samosas before making the hour long trip home. I notice in response to someone else’s similar experience that with COVID, plastic ware was not being offered. I would respectfully suggest getting prepackaged plastic ware and offering it as an option at time of pick-up. Not everyone will need it but those that do will appreciate it. Thank you for a very delicious meal.

My husband and one of our friends enjoyed coming here for the lunch buffet.. they tried all these new tastes and loved the experience. I went for supper and wasn’t sure what to try , it was all new to me.. one thing I liked a lot the other not as much .. I recommend starting your experience with Indian food by trying the lunch buffet first. So many things to choose from and such new flavors I never tasted before! The employees are great! Helpful and polite and friendly.. very down to earth.. You always have to try everything at least once .. try this place 🙂

Ordered all favorite dishes In person and was told that it will take 30 minutes. So I Went home and came back but then waited for another 30 minutes for the food to be ready. I was told that the delay was because they ran out of their roti flour. I still did not mind the wait time as I could understand the busy time (placed my order at 8:06pm) and things happen. But I was absolutely disappointed to find out that I was served with cold rasam and cold sambhar and these dishes were stale and probably 1-2 days old. Shouldn’t we expect to have our Indian take out food fresh and warm? It was clear that these dishes were at refrigerator temperature and not even room temperature which made the wait time hard to explain. If I wanted to eat two day old food, I had plenty in my own refrigerator. In the name of pandemic, you cannot make excuses for a very poor service. To make matters worse, the food was below average, oily, cold and stale. They don’t need to worry about me because we are never coming back here.

I’ve been to Ruchi a handful of times now, and each time has been pleasant. First and foremost, the taste of the food is the best Indian restaurant I’ve tried in Northeast Ohio so far. It is a very small restaurant and a little awkward to navigate, but the food experience makes it worth it. The service has always been very good in my opinion, or at least as comparable to most other restaurants I’ve been to. I always leave very satisfied and full. Great place.
