Ruby’s delivers a great breakfast menu with consistent quality similar across their three locations (although this is the smallest, most confined of the three). The specialty menu is a favorite and I’ve loved the Cajun and Lumberjack breakfasts. The experience is very family/little kid friendly.
Although it was hot and humid outside, I expect the AC to be able to keep up in a building like this, but I was perspiring before the food arrived.
The staff were friendly but they felt a little under equipped to handle what I imagine is a very standard, weekend breakfast rush.
We’ll be back again.

Ruby’s is a wonderful addition to Chanhassen! Breakfast served all day, good portion sizes, neat and clean space, and great service. The chicken salad is excellent, and the french fries are yummy too. This restaurant gives a homestyle, family feel. I can’t wait to go back again and try the breakfast. This is going to be our new spot for dining out in Chanhassen!

We come here every chance we get, best breakfast in town! The meatloaf hash is my favorite, hubby gets omelet or a traditional breakfast of eggs, toast and bacon…both great. Staff is very friendly and service is always quick.

Absolutely excellent little diner. Service was quick, food was absolutely delicious. Coffee was constantly refilled without having to ask. Very filling portions. Everything cooked perfectly. Will definitely be going back.

Ruby’s Family Restaurant in Chanhassen EXCELLENT. This is the BEST restaurant!!! My husband and I have been there twice in one week because we enjoy the food, menu options and THE PRICES!!! I am in no way affiliated with them or anyone who works there but I wanted to make sure everyone knows about this restaurant so it doesn’t go anywhere – we LOVE it that much!!! These pictures are from our meal on Sunday!! Breakfast skillet and a patty melt. I love that you can get breakfast all day, too. They are located in the same parking lot as Board & Brush, Wendys, Subway, Cub & MGM Liquor. I hope you give it a try

We have been wanting to try this place and tonight it finally worked out to take the family. I was amazed variety and number of good options on the menu. The kids loved it too. Cannot wait to go back again and try something else.

Service felt unwelcome when we went in. We tried to be very patient but we keep seeing other people getting their food and even finishing their food and paying for their food before we even get ours. We waited around 40-45 minutes for our food.
The server only checked on us once while we were waiting for our food and I asked what took so long for the food but instead she shrugged and food eventually came out few minutes later. Once we got our food, we only been checked on like once or twice. Later we asked for the check and asked again why it took so long for the food but she shrugged and just left quickly.
Safe to say; we were disappointed and wasted so much time. Food was okay but would been enjoyable with better service.

Excellent place. Burgers and breakfast all day. The food was great, and very good prices. 5 star! Funny face pancakes, and steak and eggs.
