Service was great and friendly. We really enjoyed our waitress. She was very nice and accommodating. The food however was only okay. The salad bar has gone down in standard and has lost its charm a bit. My main entree was pretty good but didnt have that ‘woah!’ factor.

My family of 8 went to the Aberdeen SD location on Saturday evening 11-8-25 at 7:45pm after a Northern state Volleyball game.The restaurant was fairly slow with only a couple tables with guests seated at. We waited over 10 min before even being acknowledged while we watched a female wrapping silverware at the bar and several other employees moving around behind the bar .
Finally young gentleman came over and said the host will be here in 1minute.
A few minutes later another young man came walking out from somewhere behind the bar tucking inhis shirt and definitely looking very annoyed that we were there. He looked at us and rudely said How many? We said 8 and he said hold on and walked away.
We waited again for atleast 5 min and then we see him laughing and talking to the female sitting at the bar wrapping silverware. Still not seating us or getting a table ready….finally I said very loudly
I am sorry but you just lost our business and we walked out.
I understand you close at 9pm but we could have easily been in and out by then had someone- anyone greeted and seated us. You would think with the economy the way it is these days you would want all the business you can get!
It was horrible customer service.
This was our first and only experience at a Ruby Tuesdays. We don’t have any reason to ever try again!

The waitress wore sunglasses the whole time she never came back to check up on us until we were done. She never said she was going to be our waitress, when she sat us down, until later she came back and just asked us out order. she never asked if we wanted to anything other than how the food came.
And the food was so skimpy like asked for the catfish combo mind you that this is a $22 plate and the size of the fish that came out was no bigger that 2 inches long so small it was not worth what we paid and the shrimp scampi that my husband ordered was only like half full not like other times that we’ve come. And it was my husbands birthday so unfortunately that this had to be like this.

I ordered a 6oz sirloin steak and it wasn’t cooked right and it was so tough, baked potato wasn’t any better, I’ll never go back. 2nd order was the ribeye steak that came out put on the table looking like a piece of liver and it was tough as nails.. wouldn’t advise this place my Bf left a tip cause it wasn’t the waitress fault

Great food, and good experience. The waiter made a mistake on my order, but it wasn’t worth correcting, and I appreciated the opportunity to try new things (asked for sweet potato fries, but was served a sweet potato). Desserts are amazing.

The head manager — I think her name is Trina — is the rudest and most inconsiderate person I’ve ever met. She has no idea how to mind her own business or run one. If you ever have a run-in with her, be prepared for everything you say to be ignored or dismissed.

As a travel nurse from Florida, I often find myself reluctantly ordering fish or seafood outside of my home state because people tend to cook the hell out of fish. However, I was craving some and decided to give the Hickory Bourbon Salmon a try. I also ordered a Ruby Relaxer (which I had never had), a salad (because you can not pass up their Garden Bar), and broccoli. The salad from the bar is always good…fresh ingredients and a great variety. My salmon was cooked to perfection…it was done, but not overly. The sweet, yet spice flavor of the sauce on the salmon complimented the fish well. The broccoli was not soggy as found in many places and was very good. The drink was interesting if you like sweet mixed drinks. I found out later that the cook was Jamal. Jamal needs a raise because he nailed this meal and if he does it with all the foods he prepares, then kudos to him. My server, Shane, was polite and efficient. I walked away impressed that I had found perfectly cooked fish in South Dakota. Great job! I definitely will be a repeat customer during my assignment in this area.

Ordered curbside pick up. The ice cream was put on top of the baked potatoe and melted before we got to the hotel. Also, shorted our order of grilled zucchini. Not impressed.
