From raw to carbonized—with a side of chaos.
This visit was a disaster. My burger arrived very rare (unsafe for ground beef), and the “correction” was a charred, overcooked mess. The grill is clearly too hot, and the staff is clearly too distracted; the kitchen sounded more like a middle school playground than a professional restaurant. Management couldn’t even provide a refund, forcing me to wait on a corporate response. If you value your time and your stomach, go elsewhere.

Over the past two years, I have not visited the establishment, and I must admit that I should not have done so. My experience was marred by several issues. The wait time to secure a seat was excessively long, the soup was served cold, the salad bar appeared disorganized, and certain items were missing. Additionally, several tables were left uncleaned.

Incredibly Ridiculous! Today, Jan 21, 2026, I called in a Togo order at the E. Emory road location in knoxville at 3:35pm and the lady said it would take 20 minutes to be finished. I arrived at 4pm. Waitress said they were almost done with my order of Catfish and Shrimp and the Seafood Pasta. So I waited at the bar. A couple of minutes later the guys from the kitchen go back there and proceed to microwave my ENTIRE ORDER! I waited for 15 minutes to get my food still. Can see them microwaving it and CLEARLY hear the microwave. I paid $55.43 for everything. The fish and fries were completely soggy and lukewarm. Tried eating that on my way home. Arrive at my house and try to eat the seafood pasta and the 3rd bite that I took, I spit it out because something sharp had just cut my gums. It was tin foil inside my pasta. Picture added. Wouldn’t suggest this location to anyone!

We came here tonight at 5:00 p.m. for the burger and fries special. Our waitress Jana (Yana) toll us about the other special with unlimited salad bar smashburger & fries for $10. We both got this and everything was fantastic. We eat out at restaurants a lot & I consider myself to be a self appointed food critic. Let me see that we both enjoyed the food very much and the service that she gave us was more than fantastic. We felt like we were in Europe again with top-notch service. We haven’t been to a restaurant in America in a long time where a server actually deserves any form of a tip. They really don’t do anything other than take an order in bring does. the check at the end of the meal. But let me tell you,… Yana is overwhelming good at what she does. She is very friendly, knowledgeable about everything in the restaurant & gives the best service we have had that would compare to a five-star restaurant. We never had to ask for anything else. She actually brought us more water, clear the plates, and was very friendly & talked to us about going to Greece every summer growing up. She made our meal memorable and very special !!

It should have been a hint, when I saw a nearly empty parking lot, what me and my wife were in for…
I had got the Ruby Tuesday app and it had a BOGO offer for two dinners. It been years since I had been to this establishment, so me and my wife decided to give it a try.
The bartender came over and took our drink orders and we already knew what we wanted, so we went ahead and ordered. After ordering I informed the bartender that I had the BOGO app, thinking it would help her out and upon telling her this, she rolled her eyes and walked away without saying a word.
My wife ordered the salmon and I ordered the comb which included ribs, shrimp and a ribeye. After waiting nearly 30 minutes, in an empty restaurant, we got our food. My wife said her fish was “alright”, but my combo was horrendous. Dried out ribs that were tough, frozen shrimp that looked like something you would serve a five year old and the thinnest ribeye I had ever seen. We were going to get a salad, but the salad bar looked horrendous as well.
I now know why it had been decades since I had eaten there. This location may not reflect on other locations, but I will not be trying any others because of the extreme rudeness and the poor quality of food.
I can’t express how much you shouldn’t waste your money by going here. There are plenty of other options in the area with much better food that won’t treat you like garbage…and that includes the gas stations. SKIP IT!!!

I havent been to this location very often, I’m not sure if this experience is common thing or not(hopefully just an off day). My son and I ordered burgers, they were both cooked very well done and had a thick layer of char on the outside. My wife ordered a steak quesadilla and the steak pieces were over cooked and chared as well. The steak was so overcooked you couldn’t bite through the pieces. We realized the issue with the quesadilla right away and the manager removed it from our bill. We didnt notice the issue with the burgers til after we said something about the quesadilla, by then we just wanted to be done.

I had an absolutely fantastic dining experience at Ruby Tuesday, and much of that was thanks to our amazing server, Andrea! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The restaurant has a great vibe—relaxed but still lively, with just the right amount of energy to make it feel special. Andrea was truly exceptional. She greeted us with a smile, was super attentive without being intrusive, and her recommendations were spot on. The food was phenomenal! We started with the loaded potato skins (a must-try), and for the main course, I had the Hickory Bourbon-chicken. The flavors were spot on, and everything was cooked to perfection. Andrea made sure our drinks were always full, checked in regularly, and genuinely seemed to care about making sure we had a great time. It’s rare to find service that feels so personal and friendly, and Andrea absolutely nailed it. Overall, it was a top-tier experience—amazing food, wonderful service, and an inviting atmosphere. Thanks to Andrea for making our visit extra special! We’ll definitely be back.

I’m not one to usually do reviews but this one I had to! For one took forever to be seated and acknowledge. Most ppl were sending their food back and the store is a complete mess, my smash burgers were burnt and mash potatoes tasted like it was a week old and cold. When waiting to pay 10 mins we went up to bar to pay when looking through the window I noticed the cook with no gloves and rubbing and scratching his face then touching ppls food. I will never go back

Haven’t been to a Ruby Tuesday in years, and now I regret even trying. To start with, we waited for 15 minutes yo get seated, and there was no line. I get they were short-handed, but seriously, I have seen busier places with only 3 people do better. Order 12oz sirloin, grilled shrimp, broccoli, and loaded baked potato. The steak was ordered medium rare and came out well done. To say the least, it was nearly dry and tasteless. The grilled shrimp again had hardly no flavor. Normally, I would have reordered the steak and sent the plate back, but I wasn’t interested in waiting another 40 mins for the food to return. The waitress was forgetful and rarely checking on things. Save your money and eat elsewhere before coming here.
