I want to share a very positive experience at Ruby Tuesday. On my last visit some time ago, I was disappointed with the food quality, but this time I decided to give the restaurant another chance — and I’m honestly still in shock.

My wife and I came in for dinner, and everything exceeded our expectations. The ribs and the ribeye steak were cooked divinely. The steak was incredibly juicy, perfectly seasoned, and cooked just right. The ribs were unbelievably tender — they literally melted in my mouth. Every bite was a real pleasure. Real Tendernism!

The service was outstanding as well. Our waitress was very sweet, attentive, and friendly, making us feel comfortable and well taken care of throughout the entire meal. On top of that, Lisa, the general manager, was incredibly kind and welcoming. She truly cares about the guests and the overall experience.

This visit completely changed my opinion of Ruby Tuesday. Amazing food, warm service, and a great atmosphere made our evening special. We’re very happy we gave it another chance and will definitely be coming back again. Highly recommended!

I was pretty disappointed in the experience here, but will preface my review with this: It’s a chain restaurant so I don’t have unrealistic expectations.

When we arrived, I appreciated the renovations, it looks great! The restaurant wasn’t packed, and it cleared out further after we’d been seated for a few minutes. Our waitress took a while to take our drink order, but we’d ordered special lemonades so I expected it to take about five minutes to get them. As someone who has worked in the industry, I get it. However, 15 minutes for two raspberry lemonades was pretty wild to me. Our waitress was nice, and let us know she couldn’t make them herself and had to wait for the bartender. We ordered an appetizer, where the food was totally dried out and the plate was extremely hot (which means it was sitting under the warmer for a while). We waited a while to receive our food as well, which wasn’t prepared correctly and the steak was thin and pretty chewy. The food was super salty (I couldn’t eat it) and the bill in total was 84$ (including tip). I definitelyyyy will not be going back. The waitress was nice, I liked the renovations, but the overall experience for the price point wasn’t great at all.

*Please note that I am not hard to please!* This experience was absolutely terrible. Our waitress was very sweet, but that was absolutely it. My food was $20 and I initially ordered the potato skins and spinach and artichoke dip. She came back and told me they ran out, so I replaced it with queso. (They also were out of basically everything, with two hours until closing time.) When the queso came out, it was not hot and had that skin-like texture on top. The potato skins were thin, had half melted cheese on top, and were completely bland. I ended up paying $24 overall, and as a college student, that is not easy made money. Those were the two cheapest things on the menu, by the way. I am very disappointed in the food, thank God our server was nice. They were good about getting us in and out, which was nice. Absolutely will not be returning, and if you’re hungry, I don’t think you should either.

Server had problems with one drink that resulted in ALL drinks being brought out to table very late.
The salad bar had chunks of side items that required a steak knife to cut up to bite sized portions. The dressings were unlabeled. I’m assuming I had ranch (if it was, it was on the rancid side of freshness).
Ribeye steak was good to medium but was chewy, quite tough. Added grilled garlic shrimp; they were good but may be too spicy for some.
Once our food was delivered, our server ghosted us. Though friendly, we were not offered refills on drinks. We had to flag her to get anything else.
We ordered dessert (even though the server never asked us). It was good.
Don’t order a steak unless you bring a sharp knife. Service is lacking, cleanliness is pitiful. Hit and miss on most all of it.

I usually never leave a review but after Friday night I think I should. The food was great unfortunately one of our friends sirloin was not cooked like she asked. We could not find our waitress for the longest time to ask her to fix it. We were ready for our check and again we could not find our waitress and was waiting 30 minutes or longer. I’m not sure what was going on with our waitress, we were trying to be understanding. After 30 minutes we had to ask the host for the check and the host or manager did not know where our waitress was.

Ordered Chicken Parmigiana and the chicken was cooked so much that the breading was dark brown, almost burnt. The extra sauce I ordered helped lessen the crunch. I told server and she offered a discount (she was very good and attentive). I ended up eating the middle portion of both pieces but left the ends since they were basically burnt.

The hostess had the personality of a wet paper bag. The waitress was struggling to remember tartar sauce with her 4 tables at most. They collected at the waitress station on the other end of the restaurant. Not a pleasant visit with how dry everyone was.

Don’t bother… We ordered three burgers. 55 minutes later they show up, overcooked with stale buns and the toppings were wrong. I’ve had better food at high school football concession stands. Not as good as local fast food, over 10 times wait, plus twice the price! The fries were good though… And the new paint job inside is nice…

My mother in law and I decided to have a late lunch Monday it’s been years since I’ve eaten at a ruby Tuesday and after today it will be even longer the very first thing I noticed was the lack of crew members (staff) and lack of customers then I saw the product scattered on the salad bar we walked all the way a y to the bar before anyone spoke to us her greeting was ” come on yall come over here ” she grabbed 2 menus and straws took our drink order and walked off mom asked about the specials which she provided the salad bar was skimpy but I managed to get enough for a dinner salad but I had to get my own silverware!! My mom asked me if I was gonna get our refill if we needed one yeah mom’s got jokes we didn’t stay that long we took our entrée to go paid and left this was not a good experience

The restaurant had a strong unpleasant seafood oder. The carpet close to where we were seated had food particles and ice that were never picked up throughout our duration of our visit. The ribeye was low quality, tough and had a lot of connective tissue. The server was nice but the service was subpar. I ordered desert for dinner and it was brought out packed to go. Definitely not the dining experience we’d hoped for.
