I’m giving this two stars only because our waitress was very pleasant. I do not normally give bad reviews for anywhere. I used to absolutely love Ruby Tuesdays but the quality and portions for our food were… less than ideal. I ordered the chicken broccoli pasta with Parmesan sauce and there was almost no sauce and the pasta was hard. The chicken did not taste good. My daughters had the hand-breaded chicken tenders and hardly ate any of them… just kind of ate the fries. Their father had the BBQ bourbon bacon sirloin steak and it was so small and not cooked the way he asked (he wanted medium and received well done). The desserts were dry…
The salad bar and our waitress was the only redeeming quality. I’m sorry to leave a negative review but I hope that someday this place becomes what it used to be again.

My wife and I went to Ruby Tuesday for the first time. We were seated in a timely matter even though they were busy. Our waitress served our drinks in quick order and she was extremely friendly. As we were waiting for our food I mentioned that it was taking a long time but we were enjoying each other’s company and it didn’t matter. A short time later our waitress came over apologized for the length of time our food was taking. Then our food was delivered by the manager in duty who introduced himself and he apologized for the wait. I appreciated both the waitress and the manager’s concerns. In this day of companies not taking accountability it was refreshing to have someone own up. The manager stated that they try hard and said they will have to try harder. The food was great and the atmosphere relaxing. I would recommend this restaurant highly and look forward to our next visit.

I don’t know why this Ruby Tuesday can’t run an efficient kitchen. We sat down ordered drinks, aye the salad bar then sat and waited for our food. I had a steak and it was flavorless.
It wasn’t even busy, I feel bad for the wait staff because they are front line and the kitchens inefficiencies I’m sure affects their tips. They are all hoovered around the kitchen window praying their food is next.
Our waitress was great and we tipped her well.
This isn’t the first time we have experienced this.
One time the place was completely empty and they said it would be an hour wait because a bus load had come and the kitchen needed time. We said well can’t you seat is give us drinks and we will eat salad. Nope that time I called and complained and was sent a gift card.
I just really think you need to have better kitchen organization. You are a restaurant if you can’t handle maybe 10 tables were in there you have PROBLEMS. This is the Steven King Dr location in Augusta Maine

Went out before a movie. Decided on salads and appetizer. We had a small wait before being seated. The table clothes ( plastic) were tearing, made me believe there was a dirty spot. When waiter( Matt) arrived drinks were ordered. He either was having a bad day,or just didn’t have a fun bubbly personality you would normally get when dining out. That’s the fun part of the dining experience, my opinion! Salads were great in taste and in portions. I’ll be back but I’ll be partial to my server and my table location.Matt try showing some interest! You have potential!

I dined at this location Monday afternoon. The restaurant was pretty empty, so I expected faster service. It took about 10 minutes for a waiter to bring me water and take my order (I was dining by myself). A table of 6 next to me ordered after me and got their food before me, and I had to ask where my food was (a good 30 minutes after I ordered). I ordered an item off the menu that was marked as “Fit meal” and said it had 470 calories. My “grilled” zucchini was DRENCHED in grease (I was told it was butter), so much that I had to wipe each piece off (and I drenched 2 napkins) so that I could even eat it. This was not a “fit” meal! The table of 6 had a problem with one of their meals, and the waiter said, “Oh it’s supposed it be like that,” and walked away. I said something to the manager about the slow service and greasy food, and his response was, “sorry about that.” I will never dine at this restaurant again.

When I got to the salad bar it was practically empty. Had a great waitress, very nice staff. Food was expensive unless you get the dinner for 2 deal and then food portions were small. Good family atmosphere. Tables felt sticky and made me uncomfortable.

Food was great. Waitress was very assuming. Ordered a burger which comes with fries and added on the salad bar. The salad bar cost 3.99 to add to any entree. Imagine my surprise when my burger was delivered without the fries. Why? The waitress assumed that I wanted to save money and if you apparently don’t get the side that normally comes with your entree you can get the salad bar for 1.99 instead of 3.99. That’s great, but, it would have been nice if I was asked if I wanted to do that instead of her just assuming I wanted to do that.

Service was okay. They forgot our appetizer and it took a while for food and drinks to come out and when we did get our food it was terrible. The steak was chewy to the point of being inedible. Even my two year old didn’t finish her kids pizza and that’s her favorite thing. Maybe something else would have been better but don’t bother with steak.
