First time in this mall and wow, all the shops in the food court were quite persistent. Ruby Thai’s probably takes the cake, but I decided to go to them anyways since they had Orange Chicken (love sweet things). Also, is it bad to say that their English was really good! They were also very generous with the portions. Guess I was a bit ravenous though because I burnt my tongue a bit on the hot rice. If I was back in the area, I wouldn’t mind coming back here, just don’t be as pushy please.

This was the worst pad thai I ever had, as soon as I opened it there was a weird saucy smell, whatever the red tinge on everything is. I tried to push past that and have a few bites but no, I have to throw this whole thing away. Never again! I tried to taste the chicken by itself and now I’m sick to my stomach. There was some bitterness in one of the bites, food has never left me this horrified! Beware!

Unfortunately, dining at this restaurant led to a bad case of diarrhea just hours after the meal. The food may have tasted fine initially, but the aftermath was anything but pleasant—definitely a health concern.

so sad to write this review because they were so welcoming to me and my friends offering us free samples. But my and my friend both got the honey chicken with rice and now we have ended up with food poisoning. It is very bad I do not recommend to anyone because this sickness is no joke!!!! This place is a joke for real Thai food! They are just selling similar Chinese food, worst than the one across the hall called China Max. This Ruby Thai is very tasty and I guess they used a lot of MSG, also they are now offering a 50% off on bubble tea from Ramen360…? I guess both stores belonged to a same owner! Their staffs forced me to try their sample bite every time when I entered the food terrence…too sad I see other people tried hard to take a bypass deliberately, hoping to avoid these “sample guys”! NOT REAL THAI FOOD and don’t bother to try, or simply go to China Max since they have been doing business in Trumbull Mall for quite long time already…and you might want to go to those real bubble tea shops like the Black Pearl, Bubbleholic or T-Swirl…100 times better than what this place offered from their Ramen360! Stay away from this Chinese-Thai food!
