Got the wonton soup today and it tastes like wonton and hot water. The wait was long as I watch them pull noodles out of buckets from the floor! I wouldn’t recommend as I had food poisoning afterwards and it was the only thing I ate.

This restaurant is NOT honest. This is what happened today :

(1) My husband ordered something and paid. He wasn’t told what he ordered is out-of-stock until he paid. The restaurant asked him to order something else. The restaurant staffs at checkout had no clue the restaurant ran out of the popular pad Thai? It’s odd. A refund was requested because I’d rather not to trust this restaurant.

(2) Then my husband ordered a soda and paid cash. He came back to where I sat and gave me three pennies. He said the pennies are the change from this restaurant. His vision is not very good. That’s why he did not realize the change he received was not correct. I just checked the receipt and realized the change for the soda is supposed to be $0.88.

Watch out the way how this restaurant make extra profits!!

I found a MAGGOT and some sort of SLIME in my vegetables!!! Instead of offering me a refund for my repulsive meal, she offered me new vegetables from the SAME tray of veggies! Really?
Finding a maggot and slime, after practically finishing your meal, totally stinks BUT the lack of empathy, the lack of customer service and not getting a refund after, stinks even more! I can’t rate this place zero stars but I can make sure that I spend $0 there ever again!

We enjoy Ruby Thai. The flavors are good. The price is reasonable. The quantities copious. Everything tastes fresh not mushy. The grilled chicken is tender and delicious. The Thai Milk Tea is authentic. Everytime we have eaten here the servers are friendly, helpful, and smiling. It’s not sit down restaurant quality but it’s a third the price. Well worth the visit.

There’s something special about this place especially since it’s just a mall food court spot. First off, every item on the menu is delicious every single time. There seems to be no variance in how fresh or tasty the food is depending on the time of day or day of the week. Portion size to cost ratio is dialed as well. Ruby thai is a total hidden gem that I will personally be ordering from time and time again

I used to like this place more. I was not very impressed on my recent visit. To start with, understand what you’re getting into. This is a Thai food stand in a mall food court. Don’t expect it to be very authentic or spicy. Their food is very flavorful, but the strongest component of that flavor is sweetness. Their mango chicken, bang bang chicken, and other seasoned meats have a lot of sugar in and on them. Their plantains are good, but again, are stewing in a sticky sweet syrup.

They used to have Singapore Noodles that were pretty good (I know, it’s a Thai place). But it looks like they took that off the menu, and now only offer Lo Mein. I also want to criticize their vegetable options. They have two: a carrot/broccoli/onion medley, and fried green beans. They are both good, but understand that the green beans incur an additional charge of $1.79. It irked me that their combo meal includes a vegetable, but the price listed really only allows you to get the broccoli vegetable, unless you pay extra for the green beans.

Surprisingly tasty with very generous portions. We needed to grab a quick meal before our movie and found this gem in the food court. Bubble tea and thai iced tea were really good and so much cheaper than the bubble tea places in the mall. Food was made fresh and hot. Loved having the choice to have spicy vs non-spicy.
