This little family-owned brunch spot felt like home the moment we walked in. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the food was absolutely phenomenal — the kind of meal you keep thinking about afterward. The service was so warm and genuine, like being taken care of by family. You can really feel the love they put into both the food and the experience. We’ll definitely be back! Taryn was our server and she was the sweetest & most bubbly person! She definitely cares for her customers and their experience!

This is my go-to brunch place in the area. The food is reasonably priced and delicious. Presentation and atmosphere is great. We love to sit outside with the view of Baytown.
Today our server was David. He did an excellent job. He gave us quick, courteous, and attentive service. I will be returning again soon for brunch with my friends and family.

First and foremost, Ruby Slippers takes “going above and beyond” to the next level. The food, the atmosphere, and the service was top tier and we will definitely be telling everyone we know to come and eat here. This wasn’t just a meal, it was an experience. Our server, Taryn, not only explained the menu to us and was so patient with all of our questions, she educated us on the owners and their love for food and how they make things from scratch. This food not only was handmade, but the love put into it was evident. If you’re thinking about it, do it! Go eat at Ruby Slippers! You won’t regret it.
P.S. get the beignets! We had the King Cake ones for Mardi Gras and it was delicious. And the shrimp and grits! *chef’s kiss*

I visit here on Veterans Day. The location of marvelous around the restaurant. Catfish dish with grits were not the greatest. I’m not sure if it was the flour then once I did get into it a little burnt. I no longer continue to eat it and the biscuit was not that marvelous either as it was room temperature. I can save the blue lavender mimosa what’s okay. Even though I got a discount of a small discount due to I ate a portion. Are they still leave a tip for the young lady normally I don’t when service of my meal wasn’t great. Thanks for having me in your establishment.

I dined here with a party of 9 for breakfast. Although the restaurant was busy and there were two larger parties ahead, we were seated within 25 minutes. The food and service was great. Our server Mark was amazing and attentive to our group!! He made great suggestions for the menu and our food was out quickly. I appreciate the restaurant being on property because it was a short walk from our rooms in Baytowne Wharf.

Visited from out of town. Was waited on by Lindsey (sorry if misspelled!) and Rosie. We traveled with a dog and the dog-friendliness of this restaurant did not disappoint! They even have a dog menu. Our pooch was waited on hand & paw with water, treats, and even a meal (: My partner adored the grits and I had The Trifecta twice – because after our first visit we had to come back. So glad we found this place!
Our dog, Jude, recommends the Shaggy Scramble. Thanks everyone!
