Once I entered the restaurant, I noticed how good it smelled. The entrance was a little dark. The picture makes it look brighter then it was.
I ordered the Garlic Peppered Ribeye. It was perfectly cooked and was great tasting. The jacketed potato was a nice change. I had apple cobbler for dessert it was excellent.
I would definitely go again!

We had a great dinner at Ruby River Steakhouse. The atmosphere has that classic Western lodge feel — warm lighting, wood accents, and a comfortable setting that makes it perfect for a relaxed evening out.
The steaks were cooked just the way we asked, tender and full of flavor. The sides were generous, especially the baked potato and fresh rolls, which were a nice touch. You can tell they focus on hearty portions and traditional steakhouse quality.
Service was friendly and attentive, checking in at the right times without being overwhelming. It was a bit busy during dinner rush, so there was a small wait for our table, but once seated everything moved smoothly.

Ruby River Steakhouse was a pleasant surprise. The restaurant has a comfortable, rustic setting that feels relaxed and welcoming, making it a nice place to enjoy a casual dinner.
The steak was cooked well and had great flavor, and the sides complemented the meal nicely. The fresh rolls were a great start and a nice touch before the main course. Portions were generous, and everything tasted fresh and satisfying.
The staff was courteous and checked in regularly to make sure everything was good. It was a bit busy during the evening, so service slowed down slightly at times, but nothing that took away from the experience.

We were celebrating a birthday and our experience at Ruby River Steakhouse was excellent! The server was attentive and friendly. The food was so tasty. We all felt it was the best choice we could have made for the celebration. The prices were reasonable and the portions big. The steaks were mouth watering, and the salmon was tasty. Everything was prepared perfectly. As a bonus we could have a nice conversation without music blasting which would have been the atmosphere at our second choice. We’ll be back soon!

Ruby River Steakhouse is the only perfect steak I’ve ever eaten. From marinade, to steak rub, to seasoned and grilled to perfection, it’s the only place I ever crave when I want steak. On top of that, the staff is incredible, all their sides, lunch options (I get the Philly), and desserts are top tier and inexpensive for what you get.

I used to love Ruby River. That’s a sad way to start a review. It seems obvious to this eater that the original owners no longer own this restaurant. Either that or they’ve given up. We went for lunch and the parking lot was empty. We were early in the day but they had been open for almost an hour. No one in the dining room. Our server was great! The highlight of our visit. We got the cheese fries for an appetizer. They were good. I got steak and jacketed baked potato. My lunch companion got a steak sandwich. I ordered my steak medium rare and it came out well done – grey throughout. The server noticed immediately and asked if it was cooked to my liking. I cut into it and no, it was not. She got it replaced. The jacketed baked potato had not much batter. I also ordered a side of sauteed mushrooms, which weren’t bad but not as good as they have been previously. By the time the replacement steak came out we were done with the meal. The replacement was much better cooked and I felt compelled to cut in and eat some. The quality was low and very fibrous. Taste was on the bland side. The selling point is a 1600° oven but the steaks didn’t have good char or color. It was like they were microwaved. (I know that sounds harsh.)
It’s sad to see a once great steakhouse fall so mightily. I completely understand that times were tough after COVID and have not completely returned to pre volume levels. Sourcing products from a cheaper seller give you just that, cheaper product. That’s how it felt. Trying to save money but failing to live up to prior greatness.

Simply a delicious. A buddy of mine was looking for somewhere to get a few shots with a steak. He was not disappointed. I was not drinking so I found out that the house root beer was quite good. You can also order it with a scoop of ice cream and it becomes a float and they do refills on the Root beer. We actually went back to back two nights in a row, We were in town for work. I ordered the baby back ribs with potato first night and a ribeye with sweet potato the second night. Both were excellent. They do their version of an awesome blossom I think they call it a Browning onion. It was delicious. I would recommend anyone going there if you are a love for a meat and you want to have good meal.

Incredible value. 16oz ribeye, two sides and coconut shrimps for $40 pre-tax/tip. Vibes are a bit dated.

I had a server that was training so it wasn’t his fault he wasn’t very good. He just never came back to check on my meal which my steak was very over cooked so I would have liked to send it back. The potato was also deep fried….wouldn’t recommend as you can taste the old oil. Even the bread wasn’t very good because they give unsalted butter. Overall do not recommend.

Probably the worst customer experience I have ever had. We showed up at 5 asking to be seated as a party of 10. We were told to sit in two booths.. meaning half the party in one table half the party in another. Frustrated as I asked to be seated at the two tables that would accommodate our party. I was explained there is no way we could use those tables as there was a reservation at 630. I showed the manger my watch showing them it was 515. He explained there was no way for them to confirm table would be ready by the 630 reservation if we were sat at 515. I said we should have no issue being out of the restaurant in just over an hour. And that if it wasn’t possible for the kitchen to be able to accommodate they probably need to fix there kitchen.
