Ordered a take out order over the phone for pick up. The phone was answered quickly, and my order repeated back to be with no errors. The owner/employees were super kind and helpful upon pickup, and even included a menu in my takeout bag without me having to ask. My food was still hot by the time I got home, and super yummy. I will definitely return here.

Had trouble finding a full menu online and ended up going inside the restaurant. I thought I’d just post pictures of the menu for anyone who needs them. The food was not as good as I had hoped for… the chicken balls and breaded pork had way too much breading for the small amount of meat and the chop suey and rice was okay, but again, not the best. I wish I was writing a better review than this, but the food was not up to par in my opinion. I’ve had good Authentic Chinese food before and this unfortunately didn’t come close. The owner was really sweet though.

First time visit from Toronto. 4.5 stars. Very friendly service. Ordered Chicken Lo Mein and Vegetable with rice combo (#14, I think). Egg rolls hot and tasty with good filling inside. Orders are big – lots of food. Definitely worth a visit. Many thanks to Jackie and Lily for the great service.

Ordered Chinese Food tonight from Ruby King in Amherstburg. Good food and fantastic service ! We got the dinner for 2 and swapped out the sweet and sour chicken balls to soo gai. You pick up and get 10% off your order. Only cost $37 plus tip and tons of food. Give them a try and support small businesses! Honestly, we haven’t ordered there for years but very happy we did tonight

I don’t usually leave reviews and I hate to leave a bad one but we could not even eat the takeout here. We thought we’d try it since all the higher rated Chinese restaurants in Amherstburg and Lasalle were closed. The food smelled and tasted of cigarettes and was not fresh (especially the fried rice and chicken). The red sauce was a different taste, colour and consistency than what is usually served with chicken. We had to throw it away. I should have known when I picked up our takeout and saw the sign saying no refunds/no talking to a manager.

I never write negative reviews, but this time I felt I had to. I ordered a chicken ball meal and paid over $15 for pick-up, once I got home I tried to eat my food and I could only have the soup and egg roll, which were pretty good. The sweet and sour sauce though was completely inedible and the chicken balls were stale. Usually I can handle any quality of fried rice by putting sweet and sour on it, but the sauce was just so aweful and the rice was so bland. I’m not sure if there was a mistake with the sauce recipe, but I really hope so. I feel so bad for writing this review, but I wish I had read a review like this before spending that amount of money on a cheat day just to throw out the majority of my meal. This was my first and last time ordering here.

We ordered takeout a week ago. The food was exceptional! Unlike most Chinese restaurants, everything was home made and delicious. I would undoubtedly order Wonton soup, Lo Mein, Soo Guy and General Tao chicken only from Ruby King in the future. The prices are reasonable and the portions are sizeable.
