We took an impromptu day trip to Redwood Falls. We ate lunch at Rubi’s Kitchen. This place is a gem! The food was awesome, service (Rachel) was fantastic! We will be back! We had Navajo Taco, Barn yard Bison Burger and the Smoked turkey and bree Sammie. All were SO good!

I stopped while driving through town and ordered a carryout. Got a Bangkok Bacon PB&J Burger and a cinnamon roll. Wow both were fantastic. The burger was so messy but worth it. It sounds unusual with grape jelly, peanut butter, a Bangkok peanut sauce, a sunny side up egg, but the flavors went very well together. Love that they use local beef as well. The cinnamon roll was really good. It’s huge for one. I had it in 3 sitting. The best way to warm it up was not in the microwave but in the oven for a bit. The frosting turned a little caramely but that made it even better. I highly recommend a visit here if in the area. Very friendly staff as well. Very glad I stopped.

Waitstaff was good, owner always comes out and greets us, when she isn’t cooking. Food is always fresh and locally grown. Sometimes, if it’s super busy it takes longer to get your food, but it is totally worth it! We’ve never had a bad meal here yet! My husband and stepfather love the Mega burrito!

TLDR: eat here!
One person was running the front of the house for lunch on a Saturday. She was so nice and running her tail off! Our brisket grilled cheese, potato salad, Nashville tenders, and fries were incredible! The grilled bread, chicken breading, and fries were crispy and fresh. We couldn’t have asked for better quality or fresher food. We are satisfied customers and will be back next time we drive through!

Great food, friendly staff, reasonable prices and a large menu full of unique choices. If you want a great big burger with tons of toppings, this is the place to go.
We’ll be back!

Was driving through town and stopped for lunch. What a hidden gem! My dad has a really unique turkey sandwich with apricot marmalade. I got a veggie Greek burger that was super good as well. Highly recommend this place, lot of really unique options and things like venison and bison burgers available.

First time in town and discovered Rubi’s through google search. Did not disappoint. Ordered smoked chicken with fried pickles as upgrade and coleslaw on side. Absolutely delicious. My daughter had the bbq sliders with fries. The service was exquisite and such a cute, fun, peaceful atmosphere!

Visited Ruby’s last night for dinner. Was surprised at the extensive menu! Got there around 5:45pm. Just a few people at first, but then around 6-6:30, people were steadily arriving. My husband had the Italian Beef, with delicious crispy french fries, he liked it. I had the Peanut Chicken Tai Bowl, and loved it. All fresh ingredients, homemade peanut sauce, very tasty!!
I noticed people ordering a variety of entrees from the menu! Nice atmosphere, and our waiter Jake, was very attentive, and very familiar with the menu. He covered alot of bases, from answering the telephone, greeting people when they came in, and waited on everyone..promptly! Will definitely go back and try another interesting item on the menu!

The service was good. The breakfast grill cheese was delicious. The bread was crunchy and the cheese was melted perfectly for that chewy gooey deliciousness with the saltiness and the butter.
The chorizo tacos were tasty and were huge. More than enough for one person. The atmosphere was warm and inviting.

Rubis has wonderful food. Service is meh. I asked for a very specific beverage, it could be done no problem, beverage arrived 15 minutes after my meal and exact opposite of what I know I was nice about asking for. Wait staff said I’d get it off my bill, It wasnt and then I heard nothing but excuse after excuse, just apologize and be done. Nope. Will I eat there again, probably, the food is good.
The music is to loud to have a reasonable conversation without feeling like one has to yell
Revisited to see if anything improved: oh boy. For a breakfast order it took an hour to receive, coffee was cold, didn’t order a cold brew, before we left Rubis, we both had G.I. issues. I am pretty sure we will NOT eat here again. The sad thing is, there’s not much to choose from in Redwood Falls. We get better service & kindness, from Pizza Ranch down the street.
