I had a really good experience here. I came in pretty late, 6pm, for a strawberry tres leches cake. I wasn’t expecting to get it personalized, but the woman at the counter asked, it took her about 2 minutes. The cake could have fed 10-12 people and cost 28$. It was really good. All the pastries looked really good. I will definitely come back.

Love stopping by Rubi’s Bakery! The bread is always fresh and delicious, and the gelatinas are my absolute favorite. Everything tastes homemade and made with love. Definitely a spot I keep coming back to!

We recently ordered a cake from Rubi’s Bakery for our daughter’s 6-month celebration, and it was absolutely perfect! From the design to the taste, everything exceeded our expectations. The cake was beautifully crafted, delicate, and personalized just for the occasion.

Not only was it visually stunning, but the flavors were rich and balanced without being too sweet—perfect for both kids and adults. You can tell that a lot of care went into making it. The staff was so accommodating, listening to all our requests and providing excellent suggestions to make it even more special.

Thank you so much for making this milestone in our daughter’s life even more memorable. We’ll definitely be coming back for future celebrations!

I recently visited Rubi’s Bakery and was excited to try their Mexican pastries. Unfortunately, one of the pastries I purchased — a puff pastry with apple filling — had mold inside. Before buying, I asked the register clerk multiple times if the bread and pastries were fresh. Rather than offering reassurance, she seemed offended by the question.

I believe freshness and customer service are key to any bakery experience, and this visit was disappointing on both fronts. I hope management takes this seriously and makes improvements, especially for the health and trust of future customers.

Wonderful local bakery with an abundance of items.

Fresh cakes, desserts, pastries, drinks, chips, tortas, cantaritos/ vasos, decorations, and more.

It smelled fresh as soon as I walked in. The business was clean and not too busy. Sweet young lady assisted me with picking out a cake. All of their items looked extremely fresh, even though it was mid-day. Price are reasonable. My cake was $26. It will easily feed 10-15 people.

There is more than enough parking. You can park on the street or the side of the building, all for free.

My strawberry tres leches cake was moist and fresh. I’ll be revisiting!

Well maintained clean and orderly with a wide selection of freshly baked goods. Very reasonably priced. Tried the tamales too and they didn’t disappoint! Go support this clearly hard working local business!

I started going to this place before it switched owners and name. Continued to go because I was use to going there and actually started liking the new place. Already very friendly with the lady owner. They sometimes do vary the things they make. For example, one thing you buy one week might not be there the next week but whatever they have made is good. Everything always looks and taste fresh. They sometimes do have a variety of bread. I do recommend this place. I still need to try out their cakes.

Update (12/2/23): I still go here to get my bread. There are usually other people at the register that make the experience iffy. When the owner use to be there charging, she would make you feel welcome and very friendly. But other than that the sweet breads are still good. They sometimes lack an extra baker that is why some times they have a fewer selection. I have by now tried their cakes a few times and they are very well done. Taste is on point, very delicious. They let you choose the details and make it as that. I still do recommend it. We have tried other places but end up coming back to this one.
