Come in on Tuesday night to try Fish Tacos and the place was packed. Lots of people hanging around waiting to pickup their online orders. Most of tables had been occupied. After being seated we had to wait about 25′ for our food. The fish was crunchy and tasted really good. The salsa bar also offer many choices of sauce that is a plus. Next time we’ll check in early to avoid the rush.

I ordered take out for my family from Rubio’s and overall we thought the food was too spicy, not very good, and barely warm. I ordered online, got there about 5 minutes before the food was supposed to be ready and it was a little late and we ate the food within 10 minutes of it coming out and it was still barely warm. They were fairly busy as they were running a promotion for a local high school which I think is fantastic by the way. Restaurant was mostly clean, one of the employees was scrambling to clean the tables. The staff was friendly and the manager came out to the folks in line to politely tell them they were running late which I also thought was great.

Placed an order online with 1 hour for pick up time. Upon arriving on time manager said they are busy. Had to wait another 15 min. Lots of people waiting for food and for service. Clearly understaffed and poor managerial planning and staffing issues. That’s too bad.

Came during busy hour so it took ~25min to get our food but we were notified of this before we ordered. Otherwise food was great and will definitely go back again.

I received a BOGO offer this month for my birthday. Tonight, we both ordered “The Coastal Trio” plates for take-out…consisting of The Original Fish Taco, Salsa Verde Shrimp Taco, and Wild-Caught Mahi-Mahi Taco. We also filled up a few salsa cups with an assortment of Rubio’s famous sauces–Chipotle Sauce, Mild Sauce, and Verde Sauce, and some extra lime wedges and chopped onions. They were delish!!! All three tacos packaged in their unique biodegradable & compostable taco trays with individual compartments to keep each taco upright during transport. Thanks Rubio’s!!!

This is a high end fast food place. The menu has a lot of originality and this place has a lot of promise. The staff is friendly. The facility is clean and neat.

This was my first time at Rubio’s. I decided to go with the Crispy Chicken street tacos. The sauce was a little odd. The chicken was sparse. The beans were bland. The chips were terrible. The presentation for a to-go street taco meal needs some work. As for value, there are several Mexican restaurants within blocks that are a much better value with better food.

Friendly register girl, ordered a burrito, 12.99 much more rice than fish, drink was 3.50, chips were stale. Total $17 lunch that was average at best. Unfriendly person who brought out the food, like she was going out of her way to walk 30 feet to deliver the food, oh and then you are supposed to take your plate and silverware over and dump the trash in the bin and seperate the different items. It isnt the end of the world but I just dont get the attitude, I’m a guest spending my money, and I dont wear a name badge as I dont work there. If she had been decent she would have received a tip for delivering the food 30 ft. Oh well.., not impressed with this chain.
