I had the fish and chips and it was MID! For the price it wasn’t bad it was MID. The fries were seasoned and cooked well but the fish had a weird taste and not to mention, they give you tiny pieces of fish! My fish filets were half the size of a normal filet. Tartar sauce was BOMB but the Coleslaw was trash!

I had their turf bowl and it was fabulous. It is a tiny bit spicy and I usually dont like a lot of spice but I loved this. If your sensitive to spice ask for more sour cream. Lovely option.

We ordered from Rubio’s for takeout, and overall, the food was great! The tacos were fresh and flavorful, the burritos were well-packed and tasty, and the salsas added a nice kick. However, they missed our soda, which was a bit disappointing. Still, the quality of the food made up for it. Would order again, but double-checking the order next time! ️

We recently visited Rubio’s on Friars Rd. in San Diego and ordered the steak street fries. Unfortunately, we found them to be quite overpriced.
For $11.99, we received a small portion consisting of a handful of fries, a few pieces of meat, and some chopped tomatoes.
While we understand that inflation and rising wages can affect prices, paying $12 for such a small portion of fast food seems excessive. This experience didn’t meet our expectations of what fast food should be.

Definitely a very good place for Mexican style fish tacos with other options.

Mostly go to this location, the food is good. My only complaint is the food in the bowls is shrinking. Every time I go the portions seem to be getting smaller.
