The staff was very nice and friendly. The atmosphere is typical corporate, fast food so meh. I’m probably not the best person to ask as i don’t typically eat fish but I had the chicken street tacos which was bland and just okay. Everything else looks and smells fresh, including the salsa bar so I’m sure it’s fine just not to my liking. I’d say don’t listen to me and try them out. Definitely a different take on tacos being a coastal grill and different than most things in the area.

The food was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful it was my wife’s first time, and they helped her with ordering and answered lots of questions. The store was kind of dirty though they really needed a deep cleaning and the smell from the P traps in the floor drains was horrendous I told the person at the registry that they need to pour water down their drains once or twice a week to prevent that smell. hopefully, they will listen, and it won’t stink so bad next time… (I’m sure there’s trap primers, and they’re in the off position if you find them and turn them on the smell will stop)

The fish taco was tough, overcooked and almost inedible. When my husband asked for a kids cup for water he got told he had to purchase a cup by two associates who quoted him two different prices. The lady who brought my food seemed happy to bring a cup for free. The restaurant was sweltering and I heard another customer also complain about the heat. I would never return to this location.

This is my favorite Rubio’s location. This location honestly does the best job. The food has been perfect every time so far. The staff are friendly and keep the line moving. The grossmont location gives you a taco with 3 shrimp in it, this location gives like 5 or 6. Unlike the grossmont location this one has the hibiscus strawberry tea and the homestyle lemonade. Go ahead and mix em, I won’t tell. .
