I recently visited Rubio’s and had a very mixed experience. The food was absolutely amazing — fresh, flavorful, and definitely worth the price. Unfortunately, the service was the complete opposite. The staff member who checked us out seemed out of it, acted very rude, and even messed up our order. When we pointed out the mistake, they gave us attitude instead of helping.
It’s a shame because the food was great, but the customer service really took away from the experience. I hope management addresses this, because Rubio’s could be fantastic with better staff.

It is always great to eat somewhere that the staff understands and explains everything you have a question about. I wasn’t familiar with this restaurant due to moving from out-of-state. But every time I come in here and ask a question about the food, they are able to describe it so perfectly. All the staff ha e been amazing and helpful, it is quite no matter how many customers are in. Its great food and not badly priced thank you Rubios!

Beware, I was just there, for the first time, to order the $7.99 two piece fish and chips. Got it to go. I added an extra piece of fish for both of them. Thought it was strange that the food was not in boxes. I assumed it was just fish no fires. Well I get home and it was two fish tacos and one piece of extra fish. I know I should have looked closer but I assumed they knew what they were doing. Just a warning to make sure you check your order. I would have taken it back except we live quite a ways away.

A good choice for Baja style tacos burritos and bowls. Rubio’s uses fresh ingredients and a great little salsa bar. Join their rewards club for freebies and discounts, and they have $1.99 tacos on Tuesday’s. I like Coastal Trio and the Shrimp Trio. My wife likes the bowls. The service is quick and friendly. The food is tasty and good for dine-in or takeout.

The young woman who tended to us was very kind and displayed excellent customer service. I loved the regular fish tacos as well as the gourmet shrimp taco. Their guacamole is very tasty as well.

Okay so this is my second visit here at Rubio’s and I had the blackened salmon burrito and it was absolutely fabulous it tasted so good that I almost lost my mind for a minute the customer service from Ms. T, and the cook Tatiana man Tatiana put her back into that food every bit of it was so tasty and it had just a little bit of spice to it, but yes this will be one of my go-to spots on a regular everybody needs to come up and hear and show some love for Ms T and Tatiana two very beautiful women and they are down about handling business just don’t come with no BS. Oh yes and PS sometimes when I come by just to pop my head and just to say hey everybody’s doing sometime I’ll see Ms T, back there on that grill..

Wanted to order because of the keto cheese taco shell option. Should have went with a different protein than the fried fish because the combination was not good. The flavor was way too salty and the texture was way off it sort of all fell apart. I would try again because the components were there, love the slaw and the sauce!

As good as I remember. I wish Rubio’s was further east. Seriously the best fish tacos. And at a great price for lunch specials and especially on tuesdays. Love the tacos and love the salsas. They’ve been doing it right for years

This is one of my favorite places near my house. I do agree that sometimes the food is amazing, and other times it’s just so-so. I think it depends on who’s cooking, but overall I still like it. However, the prices have gone up quite a bit.

Let me just say, years of going here I have always gotten the carne asada burrito and just in general a carne asada person. Recently decided to give the chicken a try and it was by far better than the carne asada! Chicken will be my go to now at Rubio’s.
