Our waitress was very nice and friendly, which we appreciated. However, the main reason for the low rating is the calamari appetizer. It’s served with fried jalapeños, but unfortunately, the plate was about 90% jalapeños and only a few small pieces of calamari. For $15, you would expect a proper portion of calamari, not mostly peppers.
On a positive note, the lasagna was good, and our kids really enjoyed their pasta with meatballs.

Draft beer options were really good. It’s usually pretty packed with crowd in the evenings, but lunch time was quiet. Plenty of parking right in the front. Pesto chicken pasta was delicious. The waitress was very accommodating.

For a sports bar it’s surprisingly has really good food. It feels like a food first beer second establishment. Service is fantastic and they have good speakers in the bar for the sports games. All cocktails are phenomenal. The espresso martini and old fashion are made to perfection

We visited this sports bar this evening with my husband and our baby to watch the Broncos vs. Bills game and had a very uncomfortable experience. We ordered two entrées and three drinks, so we were clearly paying customers and not just lingering.
From the start, we felt rushed. The hostess and the owner repeatedly hovered around our table, and the owner in particular kept standing nearby and staring at me and my baby to the point that it felt unsettling and intrusive. It made us extremely uncomfortable.
Within about 15 minutes of being served, the waitress hinted that we should ask for the check—even though I wasn’t finished with my food. The service felt dismissive and rude, and we were made to feel unwelcome for no clear reason.
We couldn’t help but notice that we were the only brown family there, which added to the discomfort of the situation. Whether intentional or not, the experience came across as discriminatory.
If you’re a non-white family or visiting with kids, I’d think twice before coming here. This is not a place where we felt respected or welcome.

Northern Virginia
We stopped in at Rubinos on a Friday at dinner time (5:30pm). The bar area was already crowded. The restaurant was about 1/2 full.
We ordered a Pizza and cheesy fries. Both were good, but I would have preferred the fries to be cooked a little longer, so that they’d be more crispy.
We’ve ordered delivery from Rubinos a lot during COVID and glad to see their business is booming, seems that the bar is a huge hit!
Their pizza is really good and we also like their Greek salad, they make homemade Greek dressing, it’s the best!

This was a pleasant surprise. The staff were great, so helpful and nice. We had a chicken Philly sandwich that was really good and some fries. We ate in the counter service side. More typical atmosphere. The restaurant was very clean. Definitely will return

Rubino’s Sports Bar and Grill in Ashburn, VA, is a fantastic spot for a great meal! The chef really knows what he is doing The nachos are a must-try—loaded with toppings, nacho cheese, chilli and full of flavor. The Grilled Salmon with broccoli and risotto is also exceptional, perfectly cooked with a bit of crisp, just delicious. Don’t miss the Sunday Meatballs and plain cheese Pizza they are incredibly flavorful and real highlights! I highly recommend this place for both the food and the atmosphere! I will definitely be back to try the Philly Cheese steak and Gyro

The best of Broadlands. My husband and I have a running joke that we are trying to find the worst item on the menu because we truly have never had a bad meal & it’s an impossible task. Great place to sit & work with a laptop during the afternoon at the bar! Staff is also incredible on both sides of the restaurant.

I brought a very large party on a busy Sunday afternoon and the service was quick and excellent! We were super impressed at the efficiency despite that both sides of the restaurant were buzzing. The place just has a great energy. Lively but not chaotic or frantic. And at one point my mom observed that nearly everyone was smiling, both employees and patrons! It really made for a wonderful afternoon and I’m grateful to Rubino’s making our family day a success and a great memory.
