Ruben’s tacos were just ok. The birria taco was better, but steak and al pastor just weren’t good, they were tasteless and dry. There are far better taco spots in Santa Cruz. We didn’t try the burritos, maybe those are redeeming…

It’s a good truck so atmosphere is not important. Tacos were great, fresh tender meats and fresh toppings. Burritos the same with tasty rice and beans. Service is ultra friendly. Love this place!

I’ve passed by this place every night for a while and finally decided to stop in. Got a Chile Relleno burrito with brisket. So good!!! Five stars food, five stars service, three stars atmosphere due to being in a parking lot in the rain. Will come again!!

We picked up burritos for a quick Taco Tuesday dinner. My vegetarian burrito was one of the best I’ve ever had! Super flavorful with very fresh tasting ingredients. My hubby said his chicken burrito was excellent as well.

Started off great over a month ago. I even asked specifically, please don’t put the onions and cilantro all at one end of the burrito. It happened anyway and the meat was chewy. (Thanks for your feedback, was all they had to say)

Skip it. The food is edible but thats about the nicest thing I can say. It’s more like tex mex with zero flavor. The salsa was bizarre and watery. I got the chicken burrito and steak and it was some of the most bland food.
