It’s sets off the road and is not visible to the passerby’s eye. Look for a sign.

It was a Tuesday night in mid October at 6pm and we were the only people in the restaurant-the entire time we were there. 2 pick ups for take out.

The steaks were good-everyone felt $46 was a bit steep for 14oz. Cooked well and drowning in garlic butter. Salad bar was included and you did get a choice of one side-mashed potatoes, rice pilaf, french fries, sweet potato fries.

I had the cheeseburger. Terrible! Chewy, dry, tasteless, with pathetic toppings. At $18 I was not impressed. Underripe Roma tomatoes, I small piece of romaine lettuce and tiny raw onion disks adorned this patty of something, not sure it was real beef. No hamburger chips and when I asked for pickles I got spears. I left over half of the burger on my plate. The grilled brioche bun was the tastiest part! The French fries were SYSCO frozen crap. Nothing special, mashed potatoes were real, fresh mashed potatoes.

The highlight of the meal was the appetizer of cheese curds….delicious!!! Best ever! $14 but a plate full of fried perfectly curds. AND the dinner rolls! Crunchy in the outside, soft on the inside and served with real butter!

Over all-expensive and not consistent! Some good-some bad.

We both had the ribeye steak and baked potato! Fabulous! Cooked to perfection! The salad and soup bar was awesome! The sharp cheddar cream cheese and the garlic and herb were so yummy! Would highly recommend. We also had the earliest reservation for that day!! We took our homemade cheesecake to go and had it later. It did not disappoint! Excellent

Nice little place just north of Wisconsin dells on hwy 13 – sign is a little hard to see at night due to technical issues lighting the sign – a small trip down a gravel road brings you to the building. Plenty of parking with handicap up close and an over flow parking located around in the fields.

Prices are fair with everything else located around the dells but the staff surpass them with kindness and checking in frequently for anything.

Wheelchair accessible, very clean inside.

!!! Food allergies !!! If you have a food allergy, be sure to ask what’s cooked near or together – i forgot what French fries were done together with, so I couldn’t eat those.

Ill definitely add this to a place I’d go back to.

We enjoyed our visit to Rubbs Steakhouse. The food was excellent, we enjoyed both the baked and pan fried fish with sweet potato fries. Our friends had salmon and a perfectly cooked ribeye steak. The soup and salad bar was fresh and well stocked. Our waitress, Christina was friendly and attentive. The cocktails were good as well. Nice atmosphere and bar area. Upon our arrival the owner met us in the parking lot and pointed out areas in the gravel parking lot to park. Plenty or space for our 44’ Newmar Dutchstar MH, you could fit 2-3 in there. Peaceful night’s sleep surrounded by woods and saw wild turkeys. Location is just outside WI Dells and away from the busy strip. NOTE: You want to come into the property off Highway 13, nice gravel road with plenty of clearance. If you have a big rig, do not come in off River Road driveway. Our RV GPS brought us in that way and it was VERY tight to get around the restaurant building in a large class A. Highly recommend this Harvest Host. We will be back for the great food!

Husband ordered prime rib it had a good flavor but mostly fat not much meat. I had the shrimp. I thought it would be the bigger shrimp like prawns for the price. Instead it was little butterfly shrimp that were cooked to a crisp. Did not even taste like shrimp. I can go to any bar and get it for $15.00 and would taste better than these $35.00 shrimp. The only food that was good was the salad bar. I told tge waiter the shrimp was overcooked and he said “sorry”. Definitely NOT worth the money.

This place was awesome. The food was unbelievable and the owner was extremely friendly which adds a feel of homegrown eating while you’re here. We aren’t from the area but will most certainly come back when we are in the Dells area again. Good hospitality and the food was top notch.

The soup and salad bar was fully stocked and it was obvious the soup was homemade. The creamy potato soup was very good and all the mixings for the salad bar were fresh.

This was our first time at Rubbs Steakhouse and we will definitely go back. We always look for a supper club with a salad bar, and this one was perfect! Unlimited soup, with two to choose from, salad, cheese spread, and delicious rolls. We ordered both the pan fried and baked haddock (Friday night fish fry) and both were very good. The mashed potatoes were also delicious. I had a bourbon Old Fashioned which was prepared perfectly, as well as a Brandy Alexander….best I have ever had! My husband had a grasshopper which was ok, but they knocked everything else out of the park. We walked around to the back and there was nice seating outdoors, and more booths that were more private. I loved the white table cloths and the old school supper club music was wonderful! Can’t wait to return!!

Everything from the food, service, drinks, and ambience are top tier! I love the homemade corn fritters with the honey butter and of course the salad bar with the homemade soups are delicious. For my entree I had the stuffed chicken breast served with a rosemary sauce, the chicken was very seasoned and moist. Everything was delicious and I will definitely be back for more.

My husband and I came for a date while on a family trip – food was incredible, specifically the homemade soups, alfredo, and cheesecake (see pictured). Staff was so, so friendly. We’ve been to other supper clubs in the area and this was by far the best value and the best food. I didn’t get to try any of the drinks but hope to come back and try some in the future! Thanks for a great date night.

Blackened salmon and deep fried shrimp were both excellent. Rice pilaf also very good. Soup and salad bar options were wonderful, fresh and tasty.

Carlos did an excellent job. Seemed to be the only waitstaff, but we weren’t in a hurry so it was fine.

Bartender friendly and made a great Brandy Old Fashioned. Yum!

Manager was welcoming and had a quirky sense of humor.

We will definitely come again when we’re in the area.
