The manager greeted everyone, every server looked at you with a smile, the food was delicious with reasonable prices and the atmosphere was unbeatable! Most restaurants are welcoming in Mexico but this one stood out, please give it a try!!

We brought our fresh Catch fish (Dorado and Tuna) to Ruba’s and they created a feast for us. 7 of us ate a 5 course dinner and each dish was amazing. I highly recommend Ruba’s for your grab catch, dinner out – David was our waiter and he was amazing and the chef outdid himself with the fish ❤️
They also have the best bakery and breakfast. We were there 3 times in our 6 days in Cabo.

I dined here 2 weeks ago and unfortunately, I was disappointed in the meal I received. I had high expectations based on their Michelin star rating but found the portions too large and the presentation uninspiring. I ordered the steak frites and my dining partner ordered the sea bass. The steak was cooked a lovely medium rare but the presentation and sides were lack lustre. 3 raw tomatillos with arugula on top and French fries. Everything tasted great, but I would compare the meal to a good tasting meal you can get at your small town steak house and not what I expected to receive from a Michelin star restaurant. The sauce atop the steak was tasteful, but again, I think presentation could be improved. A cross section of the steak would have added some nice colour to the plate. Atmosphere and service was great. Would give this place another go to see if it was a one off but overall I was underwhelmed by the food.

Fantastic! They have a Michelin star… Very good breakfast- I got the Benedict Nest with smoked salmon and the peanut butter latte. Yum yum yum. Picked up a sourdough loaf (delicious!) and concha (concha was too dry for me) to go. I’ll be back!

RUBAS IS AMAZING! This is our 5th time in annd the best so far! Oscar was our server and couldn’t have asked for a better experience, had problems with our first bottle of wine and he took care of it right away! Food was exceptional and portion sizes are great! Could not recommend this place more;) Oscar truly made our experience worth coming back again!!

Deserves the michelin rating. Food was so good. We went for breakfast and dinner during our trip. Breakfast portions were decent, dinners was almaot too much each palte could feed 2 people each. The drinks and service were amazing

Super cozy place with excellent service (David – my waiter – was very attentive). Much bigger than it at first looks seen from the outside. Small outdoor seating area to see and be seen I was at this first visit here for tea and cake which were both really good even if quite pricey but considering that it’s Michelin recommended you can’t complain and I’ll definitely come again.

So the restaurant is very nice, the food was excellent. Service right from the hostess to the server… All great! The only reason I gave them 4 stars for atmosphere is because there was a gentleman having a very loud zoom meeting and I was trying to have some peace and quiet while I indulged in the great food. I requested to be moved and so did a party of 4. We started chatting and we agreed he must have been management. Consider your guests! Even then… Food and service were awesome!!!
