Can I tell you about one of the most disappointing experiences of my life? It’s day three of surprise 2023 COVID and I was ready for food again. Sequestered in my home, I ordered food from Rubamba. So the order arrives and the bag opens to reveal the most gorgeous bowl of pozole and toppings I’ve ever seen. Redolent with bliss, the soup begs to be devoured. It is curing what ails me. Halfway through, food tasted like metal again and I completely lost my appetite.

We had our food outdoors. I believe I had the Colombian arepas with pork, OMG! All around Delicious food and natural juices. Our waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable of the food and drinks as well, he handmade the horchata! My baby and husband loved the food as well. 5/5 would recommend and we are coming back!

This is a hidden gem for sure! Food is A1 and the presentation is on point. It’s been years since I’ve been in CT and I had to come back to one of my favorite spots. Wish the I interior could be upgraded but don’t let it deter, food will leave you pleased and satisfied!

We had the Avacado Chicken Arepa and the Cheese Corn with a couple of drinks! I enjoyed the amount of meat content but was a little too salty for my liking! Still a great option in the Yale area though!
