My son was injured and we were at the urgent care upstairs. He was starving so I got him a burrito. The restaurant was empty, not a single customer inside or outside. He sat at one of Ru San’s tables just to eat, and an employee named Lili came out immediately to kick him out.
This was an injured kid sitting quietly in front of a back door where no paying customer would ever choose to sit. Instead of showing even the smallest amount of kindness, she chose to humiliate him. Cold, inhumane, and unforgettable.

Relaxed atmosphere, great friendly service. The food was delicious. My friends had Teriyaki Chicken and the other had a sushi/sushimi combo plate. Portion sizes were great. Would definitely return.

Wide variety of Asian choices that includes vegan ,vegetarian , teriyaki and sushi. If you want it , it was there. You have many delicious inexpensive appetizers to choose from and we wanted them all we did try almost all of them. We did not regret any of the choices. They were all excellent. I did my favorite was the bacon wrapped asparagus, while my coworker really like bacon wrapped scallops, and beef negamaki. The sushi was so fresh and the shrimp teriyaki incredible.

There was HAIR IN MY FOOD and both our server and the manager denied this claiming it was an “egg string” and that it couldn’t be the cooks hair because it was “too thin” The server even tried to discretely brush it off the napkin and act like she couldn’t see what we were talking about. As shown in the pictures, the item in my food was clearly curly and black. It was in both the FRIED RICE AND GODZILLA SUSHI ROLL towards the bottom of our plates. We were not pleased in the slightest at this pushback and after repeatedly stating our discomfort with continuing to eat. The manager gave us a discount on the food but I am very disappointed and shocked with how the situation was managed, hence I’m writing this POOR review. Was not my first time coming but safe to say it WILL BE MY LAST. It’s a shame they had decent food, but the service was TERRIBLE, these people are okay with you eating hair in your food!!!!

I’ve been here several times and I always enjoy the food. The food this time wasn’t what I expected. I ordered Garlic Seasame Tofu. The seaweed was delicious but everything else (tofu, mushrooms, onions etc) was toooooo greasy .

First time here and I was a bit turned off. One of the sushi makers cleaned the counter using a wash cloth with the same gloves he used to prepare the rolls and then began to use the same gloves again to refill the ginger. I understand keep the area clean but does that mean the food has to taste like a dish rag. I will not come back here

I used to eat here very often. However my experience recently has deterred me from this establishment. The new manager is very unprofessional, (the young lady with glasses); another server took my order over the phone and placed it incorrectly. When I picked my order up and brought it back inside for it to be remade, I was told that I would not be refunded for my first order because it was my fault the order was incorrect, which was mind-boggling to me because, as I said, I eat here frequently and I’ve never been through this type of poor customer service. I had to debate with these ladies about what I ordered and why my food simply could not be remade; very disappointed.

We were so pleasantly surprised at how great this little neighborhood joint is! Stopped in on a rainy night for a few rolls, Super friendly/prompt staff, cute atmosphere, very casual.
We got the sushi appetizer, a few rolls, and yakisoba noodles. Everything was delicious, big portions for the price. The sushi was fresh and tasted great. This will be our new go-to spot!
