Today was my first experience with Ru Coffee, and I must say, it truly impressed me. In a small town with limited options, I didn’t expect much, but Ru Coffee exceeded all expectations. Their flavors are exceptional, and they genuinely care about crafting exactly what you want in a great brew. The environment is relaxed and inviting, offering a perfect, calming space to prepare for the day ahead. This place is a hidden gem and a new favorite of mine.

I came all the way from Louisiana on a road trip and wanted to try small coffee shops and I have to say from here to the state Arizona this place has by far been my favorite! The 2 girl working were amazing and friendly! The coffee is amazing!

A new coffee spot just opened up in the heart of downtown, and it’s definitely worth checking out! I stopped by this morning for their opening day, and the atmosphere is just right. The sunlight pouring through the windows, gives the place a warm and inviting feel. There are plenty of cozy couches inside if you want to relax, plus outdoor seating for those who prefer some fresh air. Whether you’re grabbing a quick cup or planning to sit and stay awhile, it’s a great addition to the heart of Downtown Fort Stockton.

Great coffee and drinks. We had unique asks to accommodate allergies and other preferences and the staff was very patient and kind. Thank you!

This place is SO good and the vibes are immaculate. I got the iced tumbleweed which is an espresso drink with vanilla, cinnamon and honey. It was delicious! The owners are kind and welcoming, they gave us great travel recommendations and have created a place that feels like hanging out with family. There is live music and space to jam if that’s your thing.

My husband just got drip coffee and he was like “she put her foot in it.” Usually he doesn’t say anything. I got tumbleweed latte, it was really nice and smooth, sort of reminded of a churro. Place is very, very clean and tasteful, quite honestly if I wanted coffee and wasn’t planning on going anywhere, I might go out of my way to stop by this place. Seems like a family oriented coffee shop, maybe local band events (instruments in place). Very close to Annie Riggs Museum and Historic Fort Stockton. If we were being touristy and with kids (they have ice cream) or getting my hair done (a couple salons nearby) or if at courthouse or going to mass (Catholic Church a couple hundred feet away), I would park near here or museum then plan to go to park (local park is nearby), historic Fort Stockton, Annie Riggs museum, and here for coffee and ice cream.

Great place & coffee! Since we walked in with our crying toddler they greeted us with a smile and were so kind since they saw us struggling with my child. They showed us they have a whole wall of toys for kids and books. We were passing by and it was the perfect place for my toddler to stretch from the long trip. The space is big and the atmosphere is calm and quiet. Now, let’s talk coffee, it’s so good and they have different varieties I got the black drip and my husband the honey and vanilla one.

Such a cute shop and the coffee is delicious!! The owner is so sweet and big into music (we brought a group of high schoolers on a trip and the musicians in the crew had a great time playing the guitar and drums in the side room). Could not recommend more for both the tastiness and the atmosphere!

We walked in and felt right at home. Our 3 year old was throwing a tantrum from a long road trip and the owner quickly walked up to him and showed him the play area. We love local coffee shops as we have traveled all around the world and this one checked all the boxes. Good coffee, great atmosphere. Make sure to stop as you drive on down to the big bend!

This is a god send for anyone driving on the 10 from Austin. I swear I couldn’t find a single shop until now and I left at like 4a. So for 6 hours!!! If this place didn’t exist, I’d probably hit the next road kill. I almost hit 2 big ones on the way here!

Amazing and kind owners. You’ll want to give them all your money. Just do it!
