Overall, a solid restaurant with great food items, but the costs don’t seem as reasonable for some compared to the others. Had the shrimp and crab etouffe, Cajun seafood pasta and the oysters.
Etouffe was great, had a lot of shrimp and it was savory. The Parmesan crusted oysters were also presented nicely and tasted great. The seafood pasta had a large portion with delicious sauce, however, jumbo shrimp had the intense fishy aftertaste.
Parking is easy across the street.

This place is probably the closest you can get to real Louisiana cuisine if you’re craving it. The seafood pasta was loaded with fresh seafood, and the baked oysters were absolutely delicious!
Finding a parking spot was pretty easy for us but i assume it could get difficult during dinner time.

Food was excellent. I was in a party of ~19 people. Service was great except that I had to ask for water twice before I got it. And then I ordered a drink when I ordered food hoping that the drink would come first but it came out all at the same time (could be because we were a large group).
I ordered the Death by Gumbo and it was excellent. A pretty big order that you could share or take it home.
I also ordered the Shrimp and Crawfish Red Beans & Rice to go and it was delicious, on the milder side of seasoning. They packed it well so it wasn’t soggy to eat the next day.

I swung by for a late lunch, and I must say 10/10 experience! Adina helped me out today and truly over delivered on her service. The staff is friendly, attentive, professional and personable. Not to mention, the salad was great! I tip my hat to the staff as they really made a difference here. If you’re in the area looking for a quick lunch bite / real authentic Cajun / seafood, look no further! Will definitely be coming back! Thank you Adina and George!

Updated review: I had initially expressed dissatisfaction with our experience and our service, and I got a very kind call from Maria within two days of our visit. Maria made it right, and made me want to come back.

The food was tasty. The passion fruit sangria was very good. It should definitely be added to the regular cocktail menu. Charged more for an entree than what was on the actual menu. There were no modifications or additions to the entree, so I was disappointed in this.

This place is decent for a relaxing meal. The oysters were good here, but not a lot of variety. They only offered local oysters. My partner really enjoyed the gumbo. I’ve had the etoufee.It was ok, I was hoping for a bit more flavor. It was a little bland. My son enjoyed the crab imperial chicken soup. The staff are super friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed.

Very great service and nice staff, so I didn’t send the food back but the food was absolutely horrible. There was no flavor even when I asked for salt and pepper. Got a couple sides and an entree and everything lacked flavor. The server asked if I wanted to take the food home because I didn’t eat any of it. I said no which should’ve been their clue. The drinks were good, but I won’t be back

We have been coming here for past 20 years. We are picky so this tells you how good this place is. Too bad they don’t give veteran discount. Paid about $250. Make a reservation as we did for 6 people.

We did not need a reservation. Place was empty. Lunch is the dinner menu so people seem to come here in evening. This place is so inconspicuous and you would never know it was fine dining. It’s pricey,but worth it for special occasions. I’m a young retired lady so we eat out all the time. I hate telling people I’m retired because I look young & I get a lot of hate, but we have more money to spend than the average person. This is one of my favorite NoVA restaurants along with Peppercorn Chinese in Springfield.

Great place! The food is very tasty with a great menu selection and outstanding staff! I tried the Beignets, Shrimp Po-Boy, and the Bread Pudding and they did not disappoint! All good. If you’re in the area, stop by!
