We headed in for brunch a Saturday morning. Our waitress was really friendly and accommodating. The portions are good, my girlfriend especially liked their French toast and I liked the 6-pc chicken wings sides, the lemon flavored zest made the wings really salivating!

I am so thrilled this restaurant has taken a stand to not allow pets or any animals in the dining room. First of all what assistance is 2 small dogs providing? That’s rediculous. Besides I am highly allergic to animal hair and the products used to wash them. By nature they are animals and not sanitary at all. They lick and sniff anything , not to mention sit anywhere and carry bacteria from outside. Please continue. No human should have to sit and eat, smell and tolerate your animals for any reason. Their hair floats and lands in the food. I guess I can sue for that? What has this world come to that anyone has an argument for this. What’s next. People can bring pet rats , snakes, monkeys and tigers in the restaurant. A public place is the park outside in the fresh air. A restaurant is for peaceful dining. I assure you you enter with the dogs in the stroller and they end up at the table in your lap siting on the seats. Its wrong. In grocery stores their in the shopping cart. And no staff is sanitizing after these animals. This must stop. I will support and patronize your restaurant. Cleanliness and customer service is key Not pet or animal service. I went on Sunday morning.. I really wanted to live this place. First of all, when I came in, I could smell the cleaning products, which was not very welcoming at all. The people were very welcoming, and that is why I decided to eat my food there. The food was definitely homemade, but nothing that really stood out. They failed to come around with the coffee pot, which in my mind is an indicator of good customer service. I had to ask 3 times before I got a refill.. it’s great that there’s a local dinner, but they need some chilaquiles or a dish that really stands out.

I ate here recently and the food was great! Everything was fresh, well seasoned, and served hot. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was comfortable. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to others.

I walked in with my two small dogs in a stroller, the cook came from around the corner and told me that my dogs were not allowed I told him they’re service animals & I could prove the documentation on my phone, he continued to refuse me. I informed him of the americas with disabilities act “requires service animals to allowed in all areas where the public is allowed” this includes businesses and government buildings.
The staff then called a young woman to the front to where I explain her the law and then showed her my paperwork proving documentation of my service animals.
They young lady was very respectful and apologetic however I am very disappointed in the service in how I was treated. I did also informed both them that now I have the right to file a lawsuit against the business for discrimination if they deny entry to your service dog. I WILL BE REPORTING THIS INCIDENT TO THE STATE!

This was the best “small town feeling” café I’ve found in the Richmond area. I will visit again because the portions are very healthy and tasty. Loved the atmosphere being tiny and all.

My friend and I stayed at a nearby motel. I like to find places close by to eat. This place was a fabulous find. It’s a SMALL restaurant attached to a home. The whole family runs the restaurant. All the booths were full, so we sat at the counter. I had the veggie omelet, and it was delicious. My fried had the tortilla omelet, but she substituted bacon for the chorizo. She really liked her meal too. They do not serve DECAF coffee. The coffee was good. I asked, and it is a local brand. Someone has a sense of humor. I have added a picture of the label on the ice machine.
