The food was okay. My husband loves their food. It did not agree with my stomach the next day after eating a bite of the dishes I ordered with a few items to sample each. My husband‘s chicken quesadilla was actually good including the dipping sauce. Again, my tummy could not handle the other foods I ordered. Customer service was okay. I can tell it’s a popular restaurant due to the volume of people coming in and out of the door. This is just not the type of food for my sensitive stomach.

Off a Whim I walked across the street from great clips after my daughters had their hair cuts . We walked in to Latino music and the smells and aromas of Latino food . We were instantly greeted by the young lady behind the counter . They have two options to see their menu , the first is a screen above the counter and the other is a digital one you can scan and view . The decor is hand painted pictures on the walls . We decided to order 3 chicken quesadillas for the girls . I decided to get a red and a green Tamale. Also a beef taco . The bill including 4 drinks was only 40 dollars. The food was cooked on the grill and only took approximately 7 minutes of a wait . Came out hot and fresh . The takes were great ! The beef taco was also good and the girls ate their whole quesadilla. ( I also noticed that this location serves breakfast ). Every person that came in the door and sat down to eat left with a smile on their face . Between the food and atmosphere this is a must stop for food !

R&R Taqueria is by far the best little restaurant around for delicious Mexican food! Everything we have ever gotten from here has been perfectly prepared. The elote is one of my favorite things from here next to the shrimp tacos and burritos. Their queso dip is awesome and has lots of black pepper in it for an extra bite.
The restaurant is small so getting a seat can sometimes be a little hard. You order food at the counter and they call your number when the food is ready. The restaurant is very clean.
The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Food used to be amazing. Not sure what happened but didn’t taste as good as before. Willing to give them another shot being as though it used to be very good. Maybe I caught them on an off day. I used to eat here when they had the gas station location in Laurel so im expecting more when I return

This place use to be 4 stars, but last few times I’ve gone I wasn’t satisfied with how they are seasoning the food. My last quesadillas were overly seasoned with paprika, couldn’t eat it. The last tortilla soup was overly seasoned with salt, couldn’t eat it . Now, today the soup is peppery. Also, the queso dip I order was overly seasoned with black pepper as well . Not sure if they have inexperienced staff preparing the food but hopefully I’m not the only one noticing and they will go back to how they were before .

Placed an order for 3 birria tacos with a side of rice and beans. Rice and beans were great – hot and flavorful, but I was pretty bummed about the birria tacos. The tortillas were so soggy that I had to use a fork because all 3 of them completely fell apart when I picked them up. There’s 2 tortillas on each taco and the bottoms were so soggy that they just ripped. To me, these resemble and taste more like street tacos with a side of consommé. There’s no cheese and the tortillas were not grilled (or don’t appear to have been) so there’s nothing holding the tacos together. All in all, I would order from here again but I would choose something different. Not worth the $20 I spent in my opinion.

The food was good. I had both the veggie burrito and the sope and both were delicious, so the vegetarian options were great. My wife had chicken tacos, which she enjoyed, as well. We received our food reasonably fast. The longest one of us waited in our party was twenty minutes. Though we did not interact much with them, the employees were overall pleasant. In addition, I thought it was reasonably priced, too.
The Bad:
The cleanliness is why this establishment will not get five stars. There was food and napkins on the ground. I noticed a receipt and a sticky spot on a table. In addition, the inside of the restaurant, aesthetically, looked a little tacky with the miscellaneous stuff in the dining area.

Really good food…all the meats in the various dishes were so good and cooked well, guacamole was fresh and tasty, both chicken and pork tamales were delicious, great tacos. Everything was fresh, made from scratch and cooked to order. The place was very busy. Would go again.

Pretty fast food but this food is great. Everything I have had here is solid. Tacos, quesadillas, plates, sides, it’s all good. I used to live in Chicago and am very picky but this place does things well.
