Located in Chicago’s River North neighborhood, RPM Steak is an updated take on the classic steakhouse and features nearly two dozen different cuts of beef sourced from the finest butchers across the globe. The sister restaurant to RPM Italian and RPM Seafood, RPM Steak marks the second collaboration between partners R.J., Jerrod and Molly Melman of Lettuce Entertain You and celebrity couple Giuliana & Bill Rancic. Our dining room is currently closed due to COVID-19. But we are still offering our menu, cocktail kits, and special offerings for delivery and pickup.

My wife and I called and made reservations about a week in advance and I’m happy we did. RPM was completely booked for the evening which isn’t surprising considering it’s a Saturday night and they offer an unforgettable experience. Food was fabulous from the start with the super soft bread and tasty oysters to the decadent 14k chocolate cake. Our server Ray was an absolute love and was extremely knowledgeable with the entire menu. He really made it easy for me to figure out what to order which is surprising because honestly everything sounded so delicious. The entire staff was attentive and kind and allowed for my wife and I to have a wonderful anniversary dinner. Thank you so much RPM. See you again soon. The Rogers

My wife and I went with a few friends. The service was excellent and a great atmosphere, albeit a bit loud. The oysters and wedge salad were delicious. We split many sides which were all tasty. My filet was cooked properly, however my wife ordered salmon and it was cooked poorly as every bite was coated in oil and there was a puddle on the plate. I’d recommend to stick with beef.

Great food. Loved the A5 and the crab. Sides were tasty too. Caesar was okay. Drinks were solid. We skipped dessert (which included cotton candy). Service was good- good recommendations. Curious though that nearly all the servers were male.

I love the Tomahauwk (rate). It’s $260 but more than enough to be shared for 2 people. I am surprised by the quality and portion of the dessert. Hard to believe that the chocolate cake is only $16. It’s enough to be shared for even 4 people. The chocolate quality is good too. The yellowfin tuna is very mediocre.

The food was amazing when my husband and I came here last year for our anniversary. We loved it so much we wanted to come back again this year. The food was good but not as great as it was when we came here before. We waited a while for the food which wasn’t much of a big deal because we knew that it would be worth the wait. When we got it, we were underwhelmed. We ordered two types of wagyu and it was good but not as good as we remembered. The food wasn’t as hot as we would have liked it and was a bit underseasoned. They did give us a side of seasoning if we wanted to add more to our steak. However, the last time we were there, it was no need to add seasoning as it was perfectly seasoned. We spent more this time than we did the first time we were here and just wasn’t worth the full amount. However, I know that sometimes businesses just have off days. Our servers were awesome, however, there was an issue where one of the guys refilling our water poured water into my husband’s Sprite. I feel like they should probably ask if we wanted more water or which glass was the water. A simple mistake and no big deal, they just gave us a new glass. We would still come back again next time we are in the city. They were so sweet and gave us a complimentary happy anniversary cotton candy and 2 glasses of champagne. Overall we really enjoyed ourselves. The atmosphere was really romantic, definitely, the vibe we were looking for.

High end restaurant with premium prices and quality food. My husband swears they have the best sushi he’s ever eaten however the steep cost of the entire meal was over $500 which makes this a once in a lifetime experience! Perhaps a food connoisseur would appreciate the meal I had more but in my opinion it was just ‘okay’!
