First off we went to Roy’s tacos and it took thirty minutes to order drinks also took them forty five minutes to bring us our food we were a party of five and two were children there excuse was they were busy but when we first got there only about seven partys were there most of them only had two people and a lot of them left and a whole new crowd came in after us they were served ate and left before we even got our food and in the pictures it shows how bad our food was when it came it was burnt. Then when the waitress gave us our food another waitress stated I know you waited along time but if you want we can cancel your order with a attitude service was horrendous. We will never return there again also the carne guisada although was really soft lacked flavor was so bland and the chips where so hard I had ordered carne guisada gravy on my enchiladas and it was red chile instead.

The tea is super good nice and fresh . My tacos were amazing the beans are very tasty and the bacon is good quality. The carne guisada is super tender and great flavor. The homemade corn tortillas the best.

Great atmospere, great music great food sausage was cute! but slow service, waitress never asked us for more water or coffee and tortillas were not hot when we got them and tore easily. I’m not going back.

Definitely a popular spot. Came for the enchilada taco, stayed for the guisada and fresh tortillas and beans. Cramped inside, but worth it for the food and the experience. All the aunties and uncles were there, so you know it’s good.

My husband and I have been coming here for years because the carne guisada w/cheese and potato egg and cheese is amazing! About 2 or 3 years ago I found a wad of hair in my carne guisada it looked like when someone gets all the hair from their brush & rolls it into a ball it was about the size of a silver dollar. When I took it back they said that it was from the “cow” when they cut it up which made no sense and she (manager) said that they get bulks of the meat so when they “shaved” the cow after killing it some hair fell in the meat… again made no sense. We stopped going but after a few years later we decided to give them a try again. I had been checking my food and everything was good until today…I found this which seems to be like some type of cloth… we’re never going back. Also the lady whom takes the orders at the drive thru window will tell us thank you when we put money in the tip jar. When we have we gives it to her but if we don’t she can’t be mad over that. Nonetheless, it was good food but they really need to pay attention to what they’re serving.

The last 2 times I’ve been here food was great. Real small inside the atmosphere was beetles theme. Above all it was great only thing is the cashier lady up front. Those 2 times I went to pay she likes to charge more than what it was supposed to b. For 2 ppl we got the alamo special and the boys special. 1 is 8.50 and the other is 9.50 also a sweet tea and a water. Sweet tea was 3 dollars total 21 plus taxes so maybe 23 bucks. She tried charging me 28 dollars! I freaked out and told her what did you charge me? I took out the menu we went thru it price by price and she tried charging me an extra 5-6 dollars. I told her why was she over charging me she just said it was bc of the tip which is bs bc I left 5 dollars on the table my thing is she tried charging me for 2 more teas. Owner should really look into her bc that will make ppl not go and im sure im not the only one. There no reason why you should be sneaking that in and think thats ok

The food came out super hot, exactly how I love it, with that perfect homemade flavor in every bite.
