The food was truly great — well prepared, flavorful, and presented beautifully. You can tell there’s real attention to quality in the kitchen, and each dish felt thoughtfully put together.

The space itself is stunning. The design, the ambiance, and especially the view make it a place you want to linger and enjoy the evening. It has that elevated feel that makes dinner feel like an occasion.

Service was good overall, though it could have been a bit more attentive at times. Nothing major, just small moments where a little more awareness would have elevated the experience even further.

All in all, I’d definitely come back — particularly for dinner and to enjoy that view again.

We had the Christmas holiday prefix meals. Well worth it. Appetizers and Entrees were delightful. We savored every bite.
Lobster bisque – very flavorful on each spoonful
tuna sushi roll – superb crunch and taste profile
Filet mignon and lobster tails – impressive
Seabass – the best
Macadamia nut pudding with guava sauce and ice cream – average
Grand Marnier with berries – forgettable
Mango lychee margarita – delicious

Went for a business dinner with 9 people. The view of the marina was beautiful, the service was good, but the food was wondering. The best scallops I’ve had. The appetizers were really good, too. It was a bit loud, even speaking with the people right next to me. Highly recommend.

10/10 – This Place Knows How to Celebrate! (and Cook!)

If I could give Roy’s a rating higher than 10/10, I absolutely would! This was our first time dining here, and it also happened to be our anniversary. I’m so glad I noted the special occasion when making the reservation.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm anniversary wishes from the hostess, our server, and even a passing waitress. The service was impeccable – we were treated so well throughout the entire evening.

But the real star of the show was the food. It was truly amazing! You can tell the cooks take incredible care with the taste and presentation of each dish. Every single bite was a little piece of heaven.

And then there was the anniversary dessert… They called it a lava cake, but I’m pretty sure it was a brownie on crack! Absolutely decadent and delicious.

The price point is definitely on the higher side, but honestly, it was worth every single penny. When the bill came, it felt more than reasonable for the experience we had.

As we were leaving, a manager came out of the kitchen. While they didn’t interact with us extensively, he stopped us to say thank you for coming, welcomed us back, wished us a good evening, and a safe drive home. That was a lovely touch. Our waitress was also incredibly friendly and sweet, making the evening even more special.

I cannot recommend Roy’s highly enough (I rushed home to share my experience with my adult children. They were mad there were no leftovers.). If you’re looking for an exceptional dining experience, especially for a special occasion, look no further! You won’t be disappointed.

Delicious, relaxing, and beautiful lunch at Roy’s Restaurant in downtown! Such a gorgeous view on the water and the boats, and so calming sitting on the dog friendly outdoor patio. We enjoyed the lobster potstickers, shrimp tempura roll, misoyaki Japanese eggplant & rice cakes with shrimp, and lobster roll. Al the food was excellent. We really like the Hawaiian martini and Mai Tai. Very friendly and accommodating service. Recommend!

This is one of the most beautiful Roy’s and the food was delicious!!! I’ve been to different locations many times over the years and their Misoyaki Butterfish is just incredible and the coconut shrimp was absolutely delicious too!

We had the chow mein too and that was good.

Then of course the hot lava chocolate cake with raspberries and vanilla ice cream is delicious!!!

Beautiful ambiance, really excellent service, and complimentary valet!

Arrive early or stick around for sunset and walk down the wooden boardwalk to the beach it’s beautiful!

Came here on a Tuesday afternoon while I was staying at the hotel for a business trip. Service was slow, place itself was beautiful. We got the wedge salad, wagyu burger, tuna poke bowl, and spare ribs. Everything tasted great! Ribs were not warm when they got to the table, and the wagyu burger was overdone. Tuna bowl was perfectly flavored.

Scallops were amazing, so were the lobster pot stickers. What a wonderful for a business dinner. Got there early and even though there was a padre game and I don’t a trade show at the convention center, we easily got a seat.

Highly recommended. [email protected]

I very rarely ever feel the need to give bad reviews, but I ame here with my fiancee, and we ordered two entrees, an appetizer and two drinks. The restaurant was dead. Maybe 3 other tables, and took maybe 30 minutes to get our appetizer, but my fiance got her entree with the appetizer, and I ended up waiting another 20 minutes for my food. Keep in mind it was just some chicken kareage tossed in some aoli with some kimchi and bean sprouts. Should take about 5 minutes tops to prepare on a slow day. Service was scarce so it took a hot minute before I could even ask where my food was. By the time I got it, my fiancee was already done eating. The food itself was pretty good once I finally got it.
I’m not sure what the cooks were doing, but as a cook myself, I can tell you that there’s really no excuse for that level of incompetence.
Thankfully the manager was very kind and helpful and fixed the issues to the best of her ability.
I think the place has potential, but something needs to give with that kitchen crew.
