First time there and got the rib plate with coleslaw and baked beans. Oddly, I was unable to get a sweet tea on this day. However, the ribs were absolutely to die for! They were extremely meaty, fell off the bone, and had great flavor. Coleslaw was good. It was mustard-based and fresh but the baked beans left a lot to be desired. Didn’t like the taste or consistency of those at all. The added cornbread was a nice touch. It’s worth the trip just for the ribs though. Seriously.

Authentic and excellent as Bar-B-Q can be. Our ribs and pulled pork were excellent. The waitress was a joy…very homey, chatty and fun to be around. We had a great time in a small, mostly takeout, restaurant during a relatively quiet time. Truly a memorable experience.

Went there for ribs but they were sold out at 1:00. So we settled for their barbecue sandwich with 2 sides. It was good with plenty of pulled pork on the sandwich. This facility is take out only.

The potato salad was absolutely delicious but the chicken and ribs tasted old and gross served cold if you didn’t ask. The peach pie was just plain nasty. The was no BBQ pit to be found just two microwaves. I ate it because I was starving for some BBQ Kentucky’s worst BBQ for sure. I’m from Kansas City home of great BBQ but this place doesn’t come close and I would rather starve than to eat here ever again. I read the ratings and they are very misleading the old lady was working there was old school but I love it.

Stopped by the one on highway 68/80, asked for family pack. Told her I wanted 2 potato salads and white beans, got home and had 2 coleslaws and white beans. Called back up there and she wanted me to bring them back up there, me living in Auburn, called main restaurant an explained story, where I live in Auburn, and they couldn’t do anything about it. Will not go back up there again, shame on them over how they treat there costomers.

I’ve eaten and made lots of BBQ. This is some of the best pit BBQ I’ve eaten in a restaurant. Delicious. And so is the fish. Sides are country cooking at its best.
