The ambiance wasn’t welcoming. After all these years of being open, it still looks the same. Don’t look like no one picked up a rag a mop or anything. Smh, and had the nerve to go up on the prices of the seafood.

This place is okay, met some friends here. It’s a local bar, one of many on Hunting Park Avenue. They serve food here, however I didn’t eat there. The barmaid was attentive and friendly.

Dives are the best places to get food. Roy’s didn’t disappoint. Bunch of regulars sitting around the bar and the kitchen is in back. Ordered the dungeness crab platter with a few shrimp. Sauce is crazy!!! Food was delicious but wasn’t too fussy about the bar. In its defense though, I don’t drink alcohol. It’s a hood bar and it serves its purpose.

The female cook had an attitude like she was doing me a favor! I waited just to ask her a question and she kept saying to wait. Someone else came up that had already placed an order and she stopped and helped him! I was waiting for more than 5mins just to ask whom/where to pay and did they have the crab legs I wanted. I left after she finally answered me! I have been there before with a friend who is a regular and the seafood was great. That is the only reason I gave an additional star for 2 rather than one.

Me & my girlfriends came here 4 a few drinks, We did order some food, All there food R very good, I had a Fish Whitting Platter wth String Beans, & Mac & Cheese, it was so delicious. My girlfriend had there Chicken with French Fries she said it was very good, It a nice chill spot, it dnt get crowded @ all…..I will definitely be back to buy there food here, They sell SeaFood here to.
