I lived part of my life near Roy’s but I never tried their food. My better half swears by their chili cheese dogs. He says they are better than Anne’s.

I ordered the Fried Hard Crab, Crab Fluff (which is their baseball sized crab cake battered and deep fried) a chicken cheese steak, and of course a chili cheese footlong. (Chili and Cheese not in the picture because they graciously put it on the side so I could travel with it)

The crab fluff was phenomenal. I am picky, like ridiculously picky about my crab cakes and this passed the test.

Service is absolutely amazing. Everyone there was accommodating and super friendly.

Home of the one and only Baseball shaped Crab Cake in all of Maryland. Always very yummy and tasty every time I get alongside some Mashed Potatoes and Gravy.

First time here. Guess I got the wrong thing because the reviews are fairly good. The Crabby potato was extremely disappointing. It was a special on the board leading into the store for $10. I figured it was like many other “crabby” items. Something topped with crab dip. In this case, a baked potato with crab dip on top. My fault for not asking. What I got was a small baked potato with what seemed to be cream of crab soup poured over it topped with melted cheese and old bay. It was a sad sight and not much better taste wise. And on top of it I checked my receipt when I got home and was charged $12 for it! The hush puppies were good, mac salad OK.

I live local and I’m a picky eater. The food is always good and seasoned here! I love the shrimp salad. I got the crabs today and they were HUGE and DELISH! Also, the owner at the cash register is ALWAYS friendly.

Ugh I absolutely love this place. I have been coming here for years and the food has been AMAZING. Definitely recommend calling ahead of time for your order because there is always a wait. Which is expected since the food is amazing. They have daily specials that they post on there Facebook page which I fell in love with I find myself looking on there everyday to check the special. It’s also a lot more convenient so you can just see if it’s something you like rather then just call. Just my opinion. Highly recommend!!!!

Well we had moved away 20 years ago. Came back periodically to visit family & friends, but this was the first chance we have to run by Roy’s and get one of his famous baseball crab cakes, and we couldn’t wait! Hadn’t had one in a very long time. We go in the store, place our order, and as we mosied around, realized that Old Roy has passed away. They have paid high tributes to him, he was a great man! Sadly, they let his famous crab cake pass with him. What they serve now is a far cry from a good crab cake, let alone how Roy made them. They are no longer hunts of lump crab meat, but instead a mushie mix of crab with alot of filler. What a disappointment it was for us, as well as a disservice to Roy’s years of hard work perfecting that Baseball crab cake. Shame on whoever tookover the store, if you were going to change his ways, shoulda changed the name of the store!
