We came here for lunch because I read somewhere in the multitudes of research I did that Roy’s had good fish-n-chips. Well, they do. Great breading on a piece of grouper with homeade fries and good tartar sauce. The slaw has a hint of curry in it, which I enjoyed but my wife did not. Service was very friendly but slow. We were one of two tables in the place and had to wait a long time for the gal to take our order, then bring us the check. We did get a kick out of the sign.

Roy’s is a must stop multiple time when on the island kind of place. Our favorite is going for breakfast but we love lunch and dinner too. It’s family friendly, good for couples and groups. The Bloody Mary is the best on the island! The staff is always warm and friendly. Sometimes they’ll have unlimited mimosas once a month on a Saturday or a Sunday, they also do happy hours and trivia night. We love Roy’s and recommend them to every and anyone.

Roy’s is a must! If you are in Anguilla, you can’t miss this experience! They are known for their fish and chips and amazing burgers but it doesn’t stop there. I try something different every time I go and absolutely love it! They are sitting on a beautiful stretch of beach with some of the most consistently calm waters on the island. Their staff is AMAZING! Beer is super cold! Fantastic cocktails! They have trivia on Tuesday. They contribute and support local community. It’s a wonderful mainstay! Reservations are encouraged.

We had a great lunch at Roy’s!! After tasting the ribs in dozens of bbqs, restaurants and bars, I can say that the baby back ribs at Roy’s are the best. Juicy, great bbq sauce and stuffed perfectly… and the french fries are fantastic! Burger was great as well and the mussels with the creamy sauce simply delicious.

We’ve been going to Roy’s for as long as I can remember, before my son was born and he’s 13 years old now. We love Roy’s and it’s our go to spot for good food. It’s real value for money.

No matter where you live on the planet, everyone has that favorite food place where the service is warm and friendly, the food is great and consistent, Drinks are cold and refreshing and the prices are resonable.
Roy’s is that place on Anguilla!
The only difference between “that place” and Roy’s? Roy’s sits on a pristine beach with white powder sand and gin clear water.
It’s an amazing combination of visual and culinary excellence! Don’t miss It!

I love Roy’s & look forward to eating there every trip for breakfast, lunch and dinner—the food is quality and I love the laid back atmosphere.
My favorites:
Breakfast- each trip I have to get the Corned beef hash breakfast. It is the best I have ever had. The Bloody Mary is a work of art and a meal in itself.
Lunch- The corned beef reuben is the standard I hold all others to. Can’t go wrong with a burger. Even the bun is homemade. the salad is so fresh, too for when you need to dial it back from too many rich vacation meals.
Dinner- French onion soup. Anything with a side of scalloped potatoes. Panko chicken, fish & chips…The fish is local and fresh. Last time I was there a fisherman was making a delivery. It was nice to see fish arriving in something other than a frozen cardboard box.
Dessert you can’t go wrong with the cookie pie.
Now I’m hungry & craving Roy’s but I’m 1800 miles away. See you next year!

**Roy’s Bayside Grill: A Local Favorite That Never Misses a Beat**
*By: A Hungry Island Soul Who Dines Out 7 Nights a Week*

If there’s one place that consistently wins my heart (and stomach) no matter the time of day, it’s **Roy’s Bayside Grill**, tucked away on the calm sands of Sandy Ground. Whether I’m popping in for a casual breakfast, a hearty dinner, or grabbing something to-go between adventures, Roy’s always delivers.

Let’s talk about the star of the show: **the Lobster Bisque**. Creamy, rich, and filled with generous chunks of fresh lobster, this dish is a warm, velvety hug in a bowl. It’s the kind of bisque that makes you pause mid-conversation just to savor the moment. If you’re a seafood lover (or just someone with taste buds), trust me—*this is the one*. It’s become my go-to comfort dish and one I can never resist ordering… even when I *promise* myself I’ll try something new.

But don’t be fooled—**everything** on the menu is good. Roy’s knows how to do it all, from tender steaks to fresh fish grilled to perfection. And today? I switched it up with a relaxed **breakfast by the beach** and grabbed a **burger to go** for later (because when you eat here often, you learn to plan ahead). Their breakfast is the perfect mix of laid-back and delicious—eggs just how you like them, crispy bacon, and coffee that pairs perfectly with the ocean breeze.

The burger? Juicy, flavorful, and stacked just right. It’s one of those burgers that reminds you why simple ingredients, done well, always win.

Aside from the food, the vibe at Roy’s is unbeatable. It’s casual but charming, with friendly service and a setting that makes you want to linger just a little longer. Whether you’re a local or just visiting the island, Roy’s feels like home.

**Final thoughts**: Come for the view, stay for the bisque. Roy’s Bayside Grill is one of those rare places where every meal feels special, no matter how many times you’ve been. If you haven’t dined here yet, what are you waiting for?
