FRESHLY cooked, on the spot and hot, absolutely AMAZING food!! Owner is legit A point. Allowing us to stay past 7 to eat with our 3 girls, engaged in actual heartfelt deep conversations and was truly just down to earth. A good man making the best food I’ve personally ever had. Highly recommend as Highly can go!! To the top. Beautiful inside and comfortable. Go try it if you haven’t!

The rice so dry and taste like soap
The pepper steak taste like a lb of sugar wa mixed in- idk where the “pepper” went besides the peppers mixed in. Horrible every time I attempt this place I am disappointed. Do not waste ur money if u know REAL FOOD. This for those country folks who never ate this kind of food or something idk how they are in business still.

I came into Royalty Food for Soul hangry and a little drained, but I left full, happy, and genuinely uplifted. I ordered the fish and grits, and it was everything. The fish was seasoned and fried just right—crispy outside, tender inside—and the grits were smooth, creamy, and packed with flavor.
But what really stood out was the warmth and kindness. The woman who took my order even complimented my hair, and it honestly made my day. That small act, paired with the amazing food, turned my whole mood around.
This isn’t just a place to eat—it’s an experience. I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!

EXCELLENT HOSPITALITY: Momma Hope and Chef J took such good care of us on our recent visit to Royalty Food For Soul. My husband and I felt like part of the family within minutes of our visit. The dining room is modest with 4 tables.
FLAVOR: whoa! If I could only describe it with one word … I would have to say … YUM!
Their fried chicken is probably the best I’ve ever had with a crunchy, crispy shell and juicy meat. The collard greens and French fries were on point. My husband got the jerk chicken & rice, which was tender, bursting with flavor and so delicious! We were so busy stuffing our faces that I didn’t get photos of dinner.
So we came back for breakfast a couple days later! The breakfast bowl, plus sausage and grits hit the spot.
MUST VISIT!!! This is the spot to come to if you are traveling anywhere near Sodus, NY. Get your food to-go if you don’t have time to sit down.

Hands down best food in the whole area. Never had collar greens before and omg they were so amazing and flavorful. All the food we got was seasoned perfectly and taste amazing everything was made fresh and hot. Definitely will be comimg back……many times… them de the best damn wings iv had out thus way thank you for the amazing food I feel very grateful to finally find a great place to go out and eat

I travel for work and always make a point to stop at local spots to get a real feel for the town and it’s people. Every place in unique, and I’ve met some truly interesting folks along the way. Royalty Food for Soul in sodus did not disappoint!
Driving by, I noticed a sign that said they serve breakfast, so I decided to stop in. Right away,I was greeted with a warm smile and a genuinely friendly woman who made me feel right at home. She told me the special -grits, eggs, and meat of my choice. Naturally, I went with bacon.
She cooked the meal herself, and let me tell you- it was awesome. The grits were creamy, the eggs where perfect, and the bacon was just how I like it. I added some Red hot to the grits of course 🙂 .
I’ll definitely be stopping here again next time I’m in Sodus. If you’re in the area and looking for a great local breakfast, this is the place to go.

I went there for the first time after looking on Google for soul food. I called and ordered grits and shrimp and a side of collard greens they were delicious even though I never had peppers on shrimp and grits before the lady there was very nice but the place itself was very dark it was small with black walls and a couple tables covered with black cloth. I will go there to pick up again.
