You will have to try this amazing chicken tikka masala! The taste is so rich and the foods smells amazing! I have been attending to this place for many years and it is why I am picking about the taste. Chicken tikka masala is 5 stars dish! Also the garlic naan is homemade fresh and you will have to try amazing appetizer Samos chaat!

I wanted to update my review since we were able to visit Royale India. We went for lunch on a Wednesday and found a nice variety of curries, rice, and a salad bar at the buffet. The chili naan was some of the best I have ever had and everything from the pakora to the curries was tasty. The staff was friendly and attentive. I definitely recommend to stop by for a tasty lunch or dinner. The interior has a nice ambiance and plenty of seating!

A hidden gem! We went for the buffet lunch offered Weds-Mon. Nice assortment of dishes to try. 10 different dishes, 2 types of rice and a salad bar. Garlic naan…yes!! Everything was really good! We definitely will be back. Go hungry!

The food was fantastic, including both the butter chicken and chicken tikka masala. The chicken itself was excellent quality, all tender white meat instead of the fatty dark cuts some restaurants use. Seasoning and spices were dialed in perfectly, with flavors that really hit the mark.

We went to this restaurant because we found out they had a lunch buffet. The service was very good and the restaurant owner explained all the dishes. The salad was a little boring and wasn’t real thrilled with the dressing availability. Enjoyed the tandoori chicken but it was just a bit overcooked. Other dishes on the Buffet we’re good but somewhat limited. The hot tea with milk was very good. I did not like the deserts. The mango dessert was too sweet, and the rice pudding was too thin and not very favorable. We’ll go back if I’m craving Indian food that is close by, but I have been to other buffets that were better.

Ate here last night with wife. I ordered chicken curry at spice level 9 wife ordered tandoori chicken tikka. Both dishes were amazing amd flavorful. My 9 spice level was perfect. Very spicy. We also had papadam and naan. Large portions too. Service was great. Only reason for lower atmosphere was because it was nearly empty but also it was black Friday. We will definitely be going back.

Had the lunch buffet on Sunday. It was excellent. The chicken, shrimp, meatball, goat and vegetable, all with sauces, were very good overall though the goat and meatballs were excellent. We thought the breading on the deep-fried shrimp was a little too thick. Spicing was not a problem in that most dishes were mild in nature. There were two different types of rice. Minimal salad bar which was OK. Had the mango pudding with fresh fruit which was great (wife is from the Philippines and reminded her of home). Buffet includes Naan bread, regular or garlic, which was freshly baked and soo good. Water and English style tea is included.
The owner Roger is very kind and gracious. He hopes that as more people take part in the buffet that he can expand it.
We plan to go back, both for the buffet and also to try the dinner menu.
If you enjoy Indian food than the Royale India is a must for one to try. If you don’t, you are missing out.

We went here to try something different from the norm in Scottsdale. Everything is either Tex-mex, Italian, or a steak joint. Indian cuisine is a rarity. We are so glad that we did. The food was fantastic, and the service was, as well. However, the waiter was at our table too often. It was kinda weird.

We were the only patrons in the restaurant when we got there. That typically worries me, but I’m glad that we stuck it out. The food was phenomenal. I’m not Indian, so I have no idea what is authentic and what is not. All I know is that I enjoy Indian food, and this place was good.

The Tikka was spicy but not overpowering. You can order your spice level, which is typical. The only weird dish was the chicken kabob. It was kind of a mince meat. Funky. It’s not my jam, but you may enjoy it. Everything else from the Tikka to the Naan to the lentils, the tofu was flavorful and seemed fresh.

The wine list sucked, but not too many people are going to an Indian restaurant expecting an extraordinary wine list. Give it a try. You just might find that new favorite spot…

I found this restaurant because I was reconstructing the irrigation system for this shopping center. The business owners we’re so cordial and supportive I just had to give them my business. I rode my motorcycle all the way from Glendale, and it was well worth the trip. Great food and service. Very quiet, clean dining area. If you live in Scottsdale or just visiting, I highly recommend it

This was our first time trying Royale India’s buffet – and we are really glad that there is now a delicious Indian buffet nearby! All the curries were delicious and the sides, too! The owner was so friendly and brought us fresh Naan! We’ll be going back regularly!
