Food is amazing and fulfilling!!! The goat is very tender and just melts in your mouth. The jerk chicken is smokey and seasoned well. Festival is light and fluffy. The prices are reasonable and worth it. They also have patties and additional items. Everything was just great. Can’t wait to return.

I’ve tried a few Jamaican restaurants in the area but this place, hands down, is the best. I usually get the Brown Stew Chicken but the Jerk Turkey Wings are also good. I literally order at least 2-3x a week! So good!!!

This hidden gem restaurant offers a great selection of Jamaican cuisine. The prices are reasonable considering the large portion sizes of fresh and flavorful food received. The dining area is clean and offers several tables spaced out for dining in. There is a beverage case with lots of Caribbean and American choices, a hot case on the counter showcasing assorted patties and a few desserts are offered as well. Counter service for take-out is polite and efficient and your order is repeated back to you before being prepared and cash, debit and credit cards are accepted for payment. The entrance may be a challenge for those with mobility issues, due to a step-up to enter and there is limited on the street parking because they are in a mainly residential area. The restaurant is conveniently located close to the GSP southbound.

My first visit I ordered the curry goat, cabbage, and Rice and peas. It was really flavorful and cooked well.. The meat could have been trimmed of the fat more but it was a decent amount for the medium size. I wasn’t a fan of the cabbage though. The second time I went, I ordered the oxtail. Again, a decent amount but they weren’t as tender as I would have liked. I got the cabbage again, as they are limited on their side dishes. The plantains are good. I went again this weekend. I was to lazy to cook and wanted something quick. I wanted to try the jerk chicken but was a little sceptical because of the oxtail situation so I ordered the curry goat again without the cabbage. It was good but again, they really should trim the fat. Oh yeah, on my first visit, they gave me a taste of their Rasta Pasta, which I never had so I had nothing to compare it to, it didn’t have any meat or anything but it was very good. They have the best prices compared to other restaurants I’ve been to in NJ and NY.

I used to frequent this spot. I remember the first time I ate from here before Covid. I got SERVED ONE OF THE BEST PLATES OF CARRIBEAN FOOD EVER. So good and great portions. The woman that works there is an amazing cook and I try to visit any time I’m around. Food been consistently good for over a decade.
