Absolutely terrible food! We ordered for 11 people, collected the food which was made within 10-15 mins max which started alarm bells ringing..
Majority of the dishes was just completely full off oil (more oil than sauce) I myself had the tandoori mix grill which was dreadful, completely dry and the curry sauce on the side again just pure oil! I’m not normally one to put bad reviews as this can affect a business but this place was horrendous. Now I know why there was only two people in the restaurant when I arrived to collect my food.. and to finish off 2 dishes we ordered was missing!

Have been here twice with my girlfriend when visiting Scarborough. Really good service, staff are friendly and the food is great, as well as good value. Garlic and cheese naan was really good too. Will be coming back again next time.

We have come to Scarborough for a few days and decided to spend our last bit of money on a cheeky Indian. We ordered from here to a caravan resort. We phoned the restaurant as we arnt at the reseption 24/7 and asked if they could call us when they’re near by so we can meet them. He said “ We can’t do that as it’s busy, the delivery driver will ring you when he’s missed your delivery thanks BYE” slammed phone down without letting us reply. Not listening to what we had to say. The food arrived an hour after, a second phone call was needed though. The curry is water. I got a korma which is unedible. I am a chef myself and this was unacceptable. The chicken tikka is water with 4-5 chunks of chicken. We got no popadoms. Asked for a cheesy nan. Got a normal tiny one. All our food was half full. The bombai potatoes are canned aswell as soggy and just not nice. Vegetable rice and chips was the only thing edible. I have never complained this is my first one ever. And I expect a refund but it’s obvious I won’t get that. As staff was rude already without a complaint. seems like no food for us tonight as it’s going in bin. Dirty

Ordered takeaway. An hour later rang to ask where it was. Told on the way. Another 40 mins goes by, told they were busy and should be here soon. I understand it’s busy but this should be mentioned before ordering. Nice food though.

Nice place, staff are very friendly and polite. I had lamb biryani (£14.5) and tandori king prawns (starter £7.5) – they both tasted very well. However, the prawns were a bit too pricey, and the beryani was a huge portion (enough for 2), a waste really, while one could pay less for a more reasonable portion.
Overall the place is very good and I’d recommend it.
Expect a long wait (15 mins at least after ordering) if visiting on wed/sun as the place is so busy due to 50% discount on those days.

We went on a Sunday evening, when there was a half price offer on food. This was very economical and great value. The place was busy obviously due to the huge discount. We ordered starters n a main each. The starters came within 2 minutes! So fast. Mains took a while as obviously they are cooked individually. Cobra was refreshing as usual. The lamb in my dish was succulent but dry in the byriani. However you do get a separate veg curry with the dry dish, but the curry tasted over sweet. The mixed grill starter had succulent chicken. Enjoyed y meal. Then you get a shot of something similar to Baileys when you pay your bill! Lovely end to our meal. You may need to book as it was very busy constantly.

Food was delicious to start hungry upon arrival we were greeted by Shar and Oliver we both ordered poppadoms with a spice rack to begin which was very nice then after a kingfisher larger beer and a wine we had chicken tikka Marsala for main I ordered mushroom rice and my wife ordered garlic onion rice .
I opted for keema naan which was nice and my wife chose a garlic naan.
Although not busy inside food was faultless and Shar was very friendly and helpful.
Overall very good and would definitely recommend if in Scarborough.

Awful service, don’t bother unless you like invisible food! Ordering via Just Eat stated 30-45 minutes delivery time. After 2 hours 30 minutes still no delivery! The restaurant don’t answer the phone, calls are just rejected, tried 6 or 7 times. Dreadful service! Currently waiting for refund from Just Eat.
Edit: Delivery was attempted 3 hours after ordering, if the restaurant had bothered to answer the phone, and not blocked all incoming phone calls, then maybe they could have explained why the order was delayed! We had already sourced an alternative after waiting 3 hours funnily enough!

Possibly the worst Indian takeaway we’ve ever had. Both curries were just slop with random little bits of chicken in. No depth of flavour at all. Would have been better having a Charlie Bigham curry. The rice was OK but the naan was like shoe leather.

Visited while on a weekend break….wow one of the best Indian/Bengali meals ive had for ages…. the food is old school, well cooked and tasty. It really made a change from some of the awful stuff that is passed off as Curry in some restaurants…. To the chef and waiters, thanks for a great meal…I’ll be back!!!!
