I’ve lived in over six countries (currently in Dubai) and traveled to many more, including Japan. Royal Sushi House in Amherstburg is genuinely fantastic. The sushi is top-notch and super fresh. The owner always greets you with a big smile and is really friendly, making you feel right at home.
The cozy and unique ambience adds to the experience. Just a heads up, you should book a table in advance or order takeout online since it’s a popular spot.

The best sushi in Windsor-Essex County! My family, friends, and I have been going to Royal Sushi for dine-in and take-out for years now, and have never been disappointed. The sushi is extremely fresh, high quality, and worth the money for sure! Linda, the owner, is always so kind and friendly, we love her! We can not say enough wonderful things about Royal Sushi, I highly recommend it!

A must-visit. Wonderful owner, remembers everyone who comes in – SUCH a cool set up in that you sit in tiki-hut-style tables adjacent to a sushi bar with little boats of sushi that come around! So fun! Delicious menu, real deal food – just an all around fantastic place to visit. A wonderful experience and we will absolute add this place to our roster of restaurants when we visit Amherstburg from Windsor! Worth the trip! Amherstburg is lucky to have this gem! Go!
