This is a fantastic restaurant. The food is superb. I got the Chicken 555 to start with. Its a bit spicy but absolutely delicious. It had a sauce on it yet was still very crispy.
I ordered a mango mint margarita. The drink was delicious but a little on the small side. I would have liked it to be a mostly full glass for a $14 drink.
For my entree i ordered the chicken tikka masala and it was about as perfect as it could be. The sauce was very thick and flavorful.
The garlic naan was light and crispy, perfectly cooked.
I will be back again any time i stay in this area.

Authentic Indian food, friendly and courteous staff. When the order was not right, the staff fixed the issue right away making my wife very happy. Reasonably priced, portion sizes. A great place for either a sit down dinner or a take out.

I took my family here while visiting New Haven. The food was superb. My wife and I don’t drink, but she had a mocktail mojito which was very good – lots of fresh mint, no sour mix, real juice. The food was tasty and spicy. And the service was honestly some of the best I’ve had in CT. I didn’t catch his name, but he seemed genuinely interested in our enjoyment of the establishment and was very attentive to our drinks and naan refills, also had a great personality.

I went there for a Brunch buffet on Tuesday. The management was very nice and there were like 10-12 options in their buffet.
Buffet was just $15 plus taxes which was worth it. The chicken 65 and Hariyali kebab was so good that I couldn’t stop eating.
I would recommend everyone to go there and give it a try.

I had the most incredible meal at Royal Spice! The chicken vindaloo was flavorful with just the right amount of heat. I also tried the dal tadka, which was rich and comforting. The restaurant is cozy, and the staff made us feel right at home. Highly recommend it for anyone who loves Indian food.
