We went to this Indian restaurant in Winter park, FL for lunch today suggested by one of our friends and It was absolutely worth driving one and half hours to try their food. The lunch buffet had a variety of veg and non veg items..the place was clean, well organized and beautiful! We would love to go again to eat here..would recommend anyone who is going to Orlando area to try this place especially during weekends.. Dosa and Naan are also served on the side together with buffet..and there was no charge for our 7 year old so I believe kids eat free!!

We ate there today on Mother’s Day 2024. While we were parking, I saw the waiter waiting with menus in hand for us to come inside. It was very clean inside with beautiful decor and wonderful music. Our waiter, Celso, was so nice and very informative as I have peanut allergies. Both the waiter and employee refilling our water were so attentive. Food came out hot. Flavor was amazing! Prices and portions were excellent. We have lots of leftovers. Will definitely be back!

Decent Indian buffet during lunch that has some vegetarian options that aren’t typically seen at a buffet, but nothing really stood out. The butter chicken was also a weird pink-ish color. Reasonable prices and staff are attentive enough. Probably won’t be back because there are better Indian buffet options in Orlando.

WOW! Royal Southern Kitchen is a hidden gem in the Winter Park/Goldenrod area!! I can’t believe we’ve not been here sooner. This is easily one of the best Indian restaurants in all of Orlando, and it has an incredible lunch buffet – better than any other Indian lunch buffet I have ever been to! Their food is so fresh and flavorful, authentic, and very unique! They offer many dishes you don’t find elsewhere…you’re not stuck with the same standard dishes every Indian restaurant in the US offers! Of course, the staples are available too, and Royal Southern Kitchen nails them perfectly. The butter chicken is one of the best I’ve ever had, goat curry is incredible, and the paneer tikka masala is awesome as well. The rice vermicelli dessert is sooo good too! They even have this incredibly-unique fish that is GREEN! It’s cooked in a green masala and mint that results in that color and it’s actually one of their best dishes! If you see it at their lunch buffet, TRY IT! You won’t be disappointed. The price is unbeatable, the diversity of dishes is unmatched, and the service is excellent as well. You can really tell the cooks are proud of their food – they really do an awesome job. Just writing this review I am craving Royal Southern Kitchen again, and I just went a few hours ago!! I can’t wait to go back!

Cute atmosphere, very intimate and wasn’t overly crowded. Our server was on it, and the drinks were never empty…. I’ve passed this restaurant for over three years and I regret it, don’t sleep on this establishment and bring your friends. Hats off! Great Job. P.S. prices are more than fair.

Royal Southern Kitchen was an amazing experience. The food was absolutely delicious, and each dish was perfectly cooked. We ordered the tikka masala, biryani, saag, korma, vindaloo, aloo gobi and naan. A huge thank you to our server, Celso, whose attentive and friendly service made our experience even better. He was very helpful with what to order on the menu and truly made us feel welcome. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone craving fantastic Indian cuisine!

This review is for the new Royal Southern Kitchen (it appears most of the reviews on this listing are for the previous Indian restaurant located at this location, Moghul). I have eaten RSK’s buffet twice now and it is nothing short of outstanding! I think without a doubt this is the best Indian buffet in Central Florida now, and I recommend it highly! Looking at the photos of my meals that I’m uploading here is making me salivate like Pavlov’s dog lol

Pleasing Ambiance – art work portraying culture heritage of Kerala
Fast, pleasant and responsive service.
Recommend Chicken 65, Chicken biriyani and kizhi parotta.
Plenty of parking space.
What could be better:
1) Bathroom is clean but standards could be improved.
2) Food portions sizes are huge and price matches the portion size. I am sure there will be many tourists who can’t take leftovers. Maybe a combo option with smaller portion size and more variety at same or reduced price will provide more value to customers.
3) Not a must have but nice to have customer wish: Main meal Idilis and dosas would be great
I would revisit on my next visit. I recommend this place for its authentic South Indian food experience.

WOW I have been searching for a good Indian buffet in the Orlando area for AGES and finally I have found one. The food is actually authentic and generously seasoned! There’s a lot of options at the lunch buffet and its totally worth the price (18.99), the service was immaculate, the atmosphere was as well and to top it off, you see a lot of brown folk come into eat which is the #1 way you know the food is good! Indian people at an indian restaurant = authentic. I have a south Indian friend who has introduced me to many of her native cuisines and while the food she showed me is the best I’ve ever had, this place is up there with them!

Amazing and authentic. Celso was extremely attentive and always made sure we had water after receiving our perfectly spicy dishes. It’s a shame the restaurant is closing down soon, this is a staple for authentic Indian food
