Very slow service.
You need reservations for the hibachi tables if not wait time is over an hour(understandable). Nevertheless we decided to sit at the regular service, we waited for over an hour for our food to be served.
It seems as if there are 2 chefs and the hibachi tables take priority over the other tables in the restaurant. The other guests that are not sitting at hibachi tables have to wait for those two chefs to finish their show & then go back to the kitchen & finish cooking for everyone else.
When the food eventually came out the rice was very dry & lacked flavor. The steak was not cook to our liking – we asked for well done, it came out medium. The salmon, chicken & veggies on the other hand taste ok.
The wine was also flat.
Dinner was $152 USD & no one liked their meal.
Overall very disappointing experience.
Teppanyaki was not good, California special sushi roll was the best dish we ordered.
– The waiter was very polite and she offered some great advice.
– The cook was delightful and did some of his cooking on the grill in front of me. The fire was a sight to behold and it was amazing seeing his hands holding his spatula and spinning it around his hand.
Cons: The food was not the best tasting but it was okay.
The parking lot though spacious was very rough and the terrain was difficult for ladies to navigate with heels.
All in all a good place to visit with friends and check out.
The hibachi style food like fried rice was not bad. The skewers for chicken karage were done teriyaki style.
The sushi on the other hand was by far the worst. Inedible by any standards. Ordered two rolls and sent more than half of both back. It looked fine, but I’m not sure what happened inside the roll. Could not steer away from this restaurant enough. Poolside is much better for a bite. Be warned.
