Royal Restaurant used to be a breakfast buffet, and I recently went back after their renovation. The place looks beautiful with a fresh new design, and while the buffet is no longer available, the food and service are still great.
Everything was well prepared, delicious, and served hot. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the cozy atmosphere made the experience even better. Definitely worth coming back for a nice breakfast or brunch near old town Alexandria ☕️ ✨

Went to dinner with my boyfriend and i loved it! We ordered some devil eggs for appetizers and the tajin and corn blend well .for our entrees we bad the steak and scallop and prawn linguini and both were delicious. The atmosphere is really nice, and lastly as a person with digestive issues I’m glad to say i experienced no issues at all . Would definitely go back .

Second visit: breakfast was fantastic: started with tuna tacos, perfect contrast of crunch and soft tuna on a luscious avocado base. Eggs Benedict was spot on with perfectly cooked eggs, well seasoned hollandaise sauce. Service was efficient and high quality. The greatest testament to an establishment like this is consistency, and I look forward to coming back every time I’m in Alexandria.

This was my second time going to Royal Restaurant with the changes made over the last few years. The brunch is still fantastic. The blueberry pancakes are wonderfully made. The salads are also great. And the decor is really inviting! I will most certainly be back. One item of note, do the reservation just in case. We got lucky that someone canceled on a Sunday afternoon but its definitely better to have the reservation than hoping to get a table.

Very pretty, clean, and esthetically pleasing inside. Bananas Foster french toast and home fries were everything . I would definitely revisit this pleasant surprise.

The portion size was good. Food was very tasty. I gave a 3 stars for atmosphere, because we were sitting under a vent that would turn on cool air then shut off every few minutes. Made it very cool on a cold day of 38 degrees today.

This is another one of our birthday celebrations. All the time I lived in Alexandria I never got a chance to go here. We decided to try it for my and my mother’s birthday celebration. My niece picked this spot and did a fabulous job. We went for brunch, I’m still discussing how good the eggs were. I know, it’s scrambled eggs, but when they are delicious and salty enough and well made, they just are heavenly to me. The entire family found something to eat, the people were gracious and lovely, the mood and atmosphere because it had a nice vibe with the music and how just everyone paid attention and was lovely.

Love how it’s been renovated. Beautiful interior and great food and service to match. The serving sizes are large and went home with plenty of leftovers. Well seasoned! My favorites were the jalapeno skillet corn bread with orange butter, and the French silk chocolate pie was amazing. Will definitely be going back and bringing friends/family.
