I’m a huge lover of Indian cuisine, so I was excited to hear that this new Indian restaurant had opened only 10 minutes away from my house.
I’ve now eaten here twice: once for dine-in and once to-go. I enjoyed my meals both times! The restaurant is small, cozy, and open. Our server was friendly, helpful, and attentive.
The food is fantastic! Their tandoori chicken is my favorite. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Indian food.

Oh my goodness!! This place is absolutely wonderful in every way, seriously! We will definitely return again and again!!! The restaurant was clean and beautifully decorated true to the culture and atmosphere an inviting. I loved the shiny pretty menus and although I had no idea what was what the man attending us thoroughly explained and offered suggestions when we described what we were looking for. He was patient and kind and helpful in every way possible! THE FOOD WAS SO DELICIOUS that I had to save some to savor later in the day. The saffron rice was perfect.. actually everything was perfect with the meats and sauces being full of flavor but my favorite part about tasting the food was that you could just feel the love that was put into creating it ! The food was presented nicely ++ and allowed us to pick our heat level which was greatly appreciated . Would recommend this place to anyone craving authentic Indian Cuisine. Thank you to the owners for sharing your culture with us through food , we will be back <3 !

Probably the best Indian restaurant in Sarasota, Awsome Authentic Indian food, Great Service. The new weekend buffet is heavy on meats with Goat, Chicken, also Shrimp, fresh baked breads served to the table. Excellent prices for Superb food. Strongly recommended

At the end they charged us $ for a Thumbs Up Soda that I understood was a sample for us to try… ♀️ Probably bad communication.

Absolutely amazing new Indian restaurant added to Sarasota! Highly recommended for anyone in the area wanting layers of spiced flavors and bursts of deliciousness! My husband and I ordered a large variety of different dishes and none of them disappointed. The mango lassi was also so satisfying and a perfect pair with the Indian spices. We’re so happy to have such a yummy restaurant nearby our home, we will definitely be back!

Wow! Is the only word to use when describing how amazing the Indian food is at the Royal Peacock restaurant. The owners Vasant and Margarie are delivering a variety of consistently delicious food that I keep coming back to every week. From the masala dosa, medu vada, curries, bhatura, rotis, and many many more. They have started the weekend buffet which must be enjoyed. I have included some pictures with this write up, enjoy.

Located in a strip small, easy to find. I tried goat biryani here spiced with mango pickle flavor so it was unique. I was here for take out and looked like they had good amount of seating. I’m not sure I would go out of my way to visit here again. The staff definitely needs more training on working in the hospitality industry, wasn’t a great experience.

Being from Los Angeles I’ve had my fair share of good Indian food and bad Indian food. This was such a pleasure. We ordered simple basic items for our first visit and they did not disappoint. I can’t wait to get back and try on other items off the menu. We have absolutely no leftovers and did medium spice on the Chicken Tiki Masala and full spice on the Lamb Vindaloo. Was just right for spice leveles. The garlic naan was just the right amount we did one order and had plenty. This will be my new go to spot but while I saw many folks picking up for take out. Just take the time and dine in. The music the servers it’s a nice casual vibe down to the candle in the table.

This new Indian restaurant is convenient and good. We have gotten take-out and eaten in. The atmosphere is clean, simple, not fancy. The owners are very attentive and the food is plentiful. They also have Dosa (like a big, stuffed crepe) which I’ve only ever had in NYC. The menu needs some explaining (Saag not on the menu, but is called something else). Also, you can get lamb or other proteins not listed. For late diners, they are open until 10pm, which is a nice option.
