First time here while on a family trip to Destin. While the weather was windy and partly cloudy our hostess sat us by the windows facing the beach which was still nice so we could enjoy some of the views. We were the first ones in when they opened and after a few minutes we were greeted by our server. We ordered the royal palm oysters and friend green tomatoes with shrimp. The appetizers were good (we really enjoyed the oysters). The green tomatoes were fried well and flavorful but my only knock would be maybe be to drizzle the plate with the beurre blank vs coating the tomatoes as it lost some of its crunch. Our entrees were well prepared and the perfect serving size. If in the area we will definitely be back and would recommend for a great lunch near the beach.

We got there early (4pm) to avoid the beach traffic and glad we did! As we were finishing eating there were several people coming in.
We ate inside (they have patio dining w/a view of Ocean) we also had a nice view of the beach.
3 of us had their Signature rolls and they were Fantastic and very LARGE.
I recommend any of the “Signature” rolls.
We got 1 of each and ALL were fantastic .
The regular rolls were good but regular size.
My hubby got the Blackened Snapper w/Crab cake w/a white sauce and he said it was very good.
It looked really good.
Carson was our waiter and was phenomenal .
Definitely worth the prices and the walk UP those steps (joking) they do have a way to go up without using steps.

We are staying next door at the Wyndham condos, arrived last night, and this was close and easy.
The Waitress was great, Angel, she made amazing recommendations including the tuna fish spread (not pictured). It was light, creamy with a touch of citrus served with crusty bread, highly recommended. We ordered the Royal Palm Oysters, Grouper Tacos and Shrimp Roll. The oysters were too big and tasted farm raised, vs fresh, I’d skip those. The grouper tacos were pretty good, ordered it blackened, light mango salsa on top, with yummy cole slaw. Lastly, the sushi roll was good too, but not amazing and they did accommodate all the sauces on the side.
It was a mixed experience of food, great service, inside the restaurant was very loud and hard to hear. The patio does have an outstanding view.

Excellent, simple, and delicious menu. The atmosphere was very plain which I liked. If you want the “pirates diner experience” go somewhere else. If you want really good clean food come here.

I’ll admit, I was thrown off at first with it being a surf and turf AND sushi restaurant. However, Royal Palm did not disappoint.
Not only was their fish, steak, and sushi fantastic. They’re dessert options and drinks (holy smokes) we’re so very good.
The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was trying to find the restaurant within the hotel. If there was more directional signage it wouldn’t be a major issue.
Other than that, it was a great experience! William (our waiter) had great energy and was fun to interact with throughout the night!

Tommie (spell check) waited me on my solo birthday trip and she was nothing short of amazing. She was so informative and was patient with me while I asked a million questions and suggestions on everything on the menu. She even made me my own little drink for my birthday. She was so genuine and sweet. I’ll definitely be coming back the next time I am in Destin ! Thank you so much for the amazing service

My teenage daughter and I have been visiting this place for about 4 years during Thanksgiving as we stay at the Surfside Resort. The food is always great and the wait staff has always been very good. My 70 year old dad went with us this year and he really enjoyed his ribeye dinner right on the beach.

Just across from the beach! We started with a surf and turf roll; then fried gulf shrimp, grouper, and Mahi Mahi. Everything was well prepared and delicious. I was able to get veggies instead of fries (less guilt about those shrimp), which I appreciated. Our server was wonderful. The atmosphere was ok-but I’d like to come back when it’s a warmer day to sit outside because the view of Miramar Beach from the deck is incredible.

We went here for the view (which are amazing) but we were so pleasantly surprised at how great the menu was sushi, rolls, shrimp – every way you could imagine and all the other seafood delights. It was fantastic and our server, Logan was fan-freakin-tastic. High recommend!
