I really wanted to give this coffee shop 5 stars because the coffee is phenomenal and I appreciate the atmosphere. Unfortunately, my experience with the workers have been far from exceptional. I’ve had to wait to order my coffee while the employee texts in front of me. I’ve watched as the employees prioritize socializing with their favorite customers over making my coffee. My order is almost always wrong or my order gets skipped.

Good place to grab a quick drink on the way to work or stop and hang out for a bit. Great atmosphere and very relaxing ambiance. Lots of places to sit. My drink was made just how I ordered it.

Some of the best coffee in the state and by far the most comfortable environment to enjoy it in. Vegan and GF bites from a local baker are all superb. The owners are genuinely open and friendly people with a real passion for what they do.

This local independently owned coffee shop is a new favorite of mine. Their mocha is one of the best I’ve had, and I loved how the coffee art stayed & didn’t disappear too quickly like many designs can. Their service is always quick & friendly, making the price worth it.

Plenty of coffee options with a bit of a twist, but more importantly, just done well. The staff is very friendly and thorough with your order. The place is small but fits perfectly as a coffee house worth your visit. Sit inside at the counter and enjoy their vinyl tunes or take your order downtown to explore, either way, you’ll be satisfied.

I honestly do not believe you can find a more genuine place filled with great people and even better coffee. It’s a different level and we all know it.

Both the cardamom vanilla latte and the brown sugar spice latte were fantastic. Highly recommend stopping by for a well made and extremely tasty coffee.

We make an annual trip to Vermont, every fall. This trip we decided to explore through a town called middlebury to visit a coffee shop we saw on the map called Royal Oak Coffee. We drove 40 minutes to visit this coffee shop. For the past ten years we review coffee shops and tour the US in doing so. This time I’m actually reviewing on Yelp as I’m completely shocked and disturbed at the responses of this employees.
The place is very small but quaint. They had oat milk so that was a plus. There were 3 baristas, two ladies and one gentleman. We waiting 30 minutes to get one mocha. They were very slow. When we got ours, it was barely lukewarm. We asked to reheat or make it but all they said was we can’t do that but thanks anyway.
Thanks anyway??? Who says that? It’s rude and unprofessional and now serving less than quality mochas. I returned to the counter and advised the young girl, you can thank us expecting us to leave but we paid for this mocha and would like it to be remade please. She began to argue they couldn’t because they were busy. REALLY?? I really hope who reads this can advise this girl that is not how service is to be handled. Terrible human relations, terrible customer service and rude. The gentleman came forward and said he would make it but she advised it would be 15 minutes to wait! So we waited because it’s not right to make a product with less than quality just because you’re busy! No apology. Save your money and go to other amazing coffee shops in the area.
