First time trying this place. And Im not the Indian food type person im down to try though… this was the absolute best food I’ve had so far in this category of food and ive tried a bunch of others… hats off to you guys can’t wait to make the drive from yakima again. The service was wonderful also and the vibe was definitely my jam.

Really frustrating experience here. The curry tasted like it had been sitting for a long time — very dull flavor, almost no proper spices, and definitely not fresh. The naan was also disappointing, seemed frozen and wasn’t cooked properly.
I came in expecting good Indian food and left very unsatisfied and still hungry. The quality control in the kitchen seriously needs attention. Based on this visit, I wouldn’t recommend this place until they improve freshness and taste.

Hi, I wanted to share feedback about my recent order. The curry seemed very old and had almost no taste or masala—it felt like it was previously frozen. The naans were also not fresh; they tasted frozen and were not properly cooked. I’m disappointed with the quality and hope you can look into this.

I found this place while looking for another dinner spot. We walked in and were immediately handed a menu and decided to stay because of the good smells. My taste buds were not let down. My group got the three most popular dishes: Tikka marsala, butter chicken, and lamb curry. All were absolutely delectable and came with 3~ cups of rice. Easily enough for two meals. Highly recommend this place and will be coming back.

The “Tandoor” Lie: They advertise traditional methods, but the Naan was stale, rubbery, and clearly not made in a tandoor. It felt like store-bought bread that had been sitting out for days.
Frozen & Tasteless: The curries had zero masala, no spice profile, and no soul. They arrived looking and tasting like industrial frozen food that was just tossed in a microwave. Serving stale, improperly heated food is a massive health hazard.

Misleading Menu: The menu prominently features Indian tandoor (clay oven) delicacies; however, the restaurant possesses no operational tandoor, I was told building restrictions. This is clear misleading advt.
Subpar Naan: The naan served was evidently supermarket packaged and warmed, confirming it was not prepared using traditional tandoor methods as implied.
Non-Functional Amenities: There is no working draft beer station and non-functional and appears to be solely for display. Bottled Indian beer selection is limited (read more below)
Pricing Discrepancy (Beer): A small Indian Kingfisher beer was charged at $11, it was neither listed nor clearly disclosed anywhere on the menu.
Hall of fame: A cocktail priced at $10 on the menu was charged at $13 on the bill (just charge whatever they like, small beer $11). I returned to the restaurant and showed them this is not done.
The use of deceptive marketing (tandoor items) and questionable billing tactics compromises customer trust and the integrity of the dining experience.

I’ve been looking for a good Indian place around Ellensburg and HERE IT FINALLY IS. I’m thrilled we took a chance on a new dinner spot tonight.
The gobi manchurian was such a treat and the lamb curry was so tender and flavorful!
I won’t get garlic naan next time because it was so perfectly garlicy that it covered up the flavors of my curry!
That’s right. The naan was too good. Regular naan for me next time.
I can’t wait to try the other menu items.
The building is so beautiful it’s definitely going to be a regular date night spot.

Second time dining in at Royal Junction and it has quickly become one of my favorites! I had the chicken tikka masala, and my friend ordered the butter lamb. We also had garlic naan and chicken samosas on the side. Everything was delicious and packed with flavor! The atmosphere of this restaurant is really chill, great spot to catch up with a friend and enjoy some good food. Our server Arsh was very kind and helpful! He thanked us for being repeat customers which was nice, it seems like they really pay attention to the customers here.

We had the lamb curry and butter chicken. Both were perfect! Great service, even better drinks, and the atmosphere was fantastic. We aren’t in Ellensburg often, but we’ll definitely be back the next time we’re here.
